Remove Chase Young (barf). Insert dayo odeyingbo. Young large and athletic.
I think Milton Williams is my splash free agent signing I want the most.Backthepack4ever wrote: ↑06 Mar 2025 10:45Remove Chase Young (barf). Insert dayo odeyingbo. Young large and athletic.
Internal pressure is so effective and valuable on defense as it's the quickest way to the quarterback and also doesn't allow the quarterback to step up in the pocket as easily so it helps your edge guys.

I have no issues with Williams. Dude isn't great against the run but dang he raises hell on passing downs.go pak go wrote: ↑06 Mar 2025 11:43I think Milton Williams is my splash free agent signing I want the most.Backthepack4ever wrote: ↑06 Mar 2025 10:45Remove Chase Young (barf). I'd rather have a pass rush specialist compared to a run stop specialist if I had to chose between the two. Especially with this year's draft as there a lot of DTs available who can probably come in right away and be competent against the run.Backthepack4ever wrote: ↑06 Mar 2025 11:56I have no issues with Williams. I think you can have packages of one of Williams/Wyatt on early downs and both of them obvious passing downs to wreak havoc.
Also remember Williams actually had a couple of great run stops against Jacobs in Brazil.
we can fix the pass rush using the draft though, normally I would not support the draft for DL, but there's quality DL right into the 3rd round.go pak go wrote: ↑06 Mar 2025 12:37I'd rather have a pass rush specialist compared to a run stop specialist if I had to chose between the two. I'd use slot 23 on one, and also maybe a later round pick as well, and purchase a WR and also a CB in UFA

You look at position and I look at players available for each position. You can fix any position anywhere if you acquire the right player.Yoop wrote: ↑06 Mar 2025 13:08we can fix the pass rush using the draft though, normally I would not support the draft for DL, but there's quality DL right into the 3rd round.go pak go wrote: ↑06 Mar 2025 12:37I'd rather have a pass rush specialist compared to a run stop specialist if I had to chose between the two. Ultimately we just need a premium player in FA. I don't really care what position that premium player is but we should get one this offseason (and frankly I think we will).
Wide Reciever, Pass Rush, Cornerback are the likely premium player spots to go after. DK Metcalf and Adams look to be your premium players at Wide Out and there are couple of pass rushers who could be classified as premium whether via trade or FA. I don't see much for corners.
I like Williams because he is an inside pass rusher who has the potential to be ascending and entering the peak of his career at 26 years old this season. My concern is he decided a great game to have a breakout game (the Super Bowl). He has low mileage which makes one ask is this guy just getting started or is he a pan flasher who will regress back to his 3rd round status (and benefited playing next to Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis) after getting paid $20+ million.

man, I don't want to wait for you guys to report it LOL
X is back up.
According to Bill Huber, Packers are moving on from Josh Myers.
Myers was acceptable at C on a rookie deal but honestly, thank god.
