I never want to see MVS or EQ get a jet sweep again.

If Austin still has that top speed too, be kind of interesting running double verts with like MVS on the sideline and Austin in the slot running more like a psuedo post, that would be too much speed for any safety to cover and would put a ton of strain on a cover 2 as well.
MVS has 6 career carries (2 per year) and an 8.5 yards/carry average (with no gains longer than 21 to skew the average).
EQSB has 2 career carries for 5 and 7 yards.

So 1) there is no issue about them getting too many jet sweeps, and 2) they are not that bad at it.

Even Lazard only has 3 carries for 21, 19, and -2

It's not like Geronimo Allison is out there running them (he did get one last year, though, haha)
They are well drawn up and well blocked. Probably should be 16 yard average if we had a playmaker out there.

Would love to see a real threat out there with the likes of Lazard and EQ blocking on the edge.

Joe Montana, Snake Stabler
The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff

Randy Wright is still the first player I think of when the #16 comes up. That's a pretty sad number legacy...

Part of Craig Nall for me.

I called him the heir apparent till we went out and drafted stupid Aaron.

I think this is brilliant. If nothing than insurance for the Ervin role it's smart, but I think Austin can be even more dynamic. The trick is to use him correctly and I think what we know about LaFleur, we are poised to do exactly that.

Mostly reserve on offense, ST may start right away or work in down the line. Absolutely zero downside here. Rison upside ;)
I just wanted to point out that when I said "Rison upside" I meant "Desmond Howard" upside.

Still a reference to a WR addition that will help this team win a Super Bowl, but a reference to the return man version, more so than a regular offensive WR.

Let's hope you are correct. 'Cuz we all know how impactful Desmond was in 1996. Our Super Bowl MVP. I hope Tavon knows how to get out of the locker room on time after half time before kickoff. :swear:

Who?? :dunno:
Punter during 1991-1992 who happened to wear #16

Also, no one mentioned the most beloved #16 of all, Scott Tolzien!

I’m happy with the pick up. Austin can take it to the house anytime he touches the ball.

Just hope he can stay healthy.

I’ve wanted Shepard gone since last year. Upgrade for sure.
Love is the answer…

The Bills just added him to their active roster so I'm sure he is doing just fine.

This whole thing was a joke. I did it primarily because every time a player takes a number, fans run to Facebook and talk about what a disgrace it is to to the former player who wore it.

We saw it with Graham taking 80
We saw it with Gary taking 52
