Must be in the minority here, but I chose Goff.

Quite possible he is my 5th option.
Off course Dalton played for the bungles all those years.salmar80 wrote: ↑19 Mar 2021 02:40Didn't realize how bad Dalton's career stats really were.
Worse than 2/1 TD/INT -ratio. 87.5 career QB rating with just one >100 QB rating season and one other >90 QB rating. LOL Trub's career rating is 87.2, just .3 worse than Dalton's. Foles' is .4 worse, with much better peak seasons... Now I can see how Bears' fans were talking about paying two identical mediocre QBs.
Cousins over 10 QB rating points better than Dalton over his career. Goff 4 points higher. AR on another planet.
Do you mean like Rodgers?Acrobat wrote: ↑19 Mar 2021 10:24If Cousins hadn't just been paid 35 million, I think everyone would say him. He's a victim of his insane contract creating a negative public perception. He's an above average QB who's biggest challenge is his inconsistency. Some games he looks like a great QB and then he'll look like he didn't show up for film study the next 2 weeks.
So yeah, he's 2nd best but I don't think he's capable of bringing his team to the Super Bowl unless the Vikes have a historic good defense.
Actually, it's $35 million with $10 already paid for a $45 cap hit.
No.Raptorman wrote: ↑19 Mar 2021 18:25Do you mean like Rodgers?Acrobat wrote: ↑19 Mar 2021 10:24If Cousins hadn't just been paid 35 million, I think everyone would say him. Fair point, but I don't think even you believe it. I think everyone understands full well that Rodgers is more than capable of getting another Super Bowl. Just doesn't have history on his side to back that up. He will, though.Raptorman wrote: ↑19 Mar 2021 18:25Do you mean like Rodgers?Acrobat wrote: ↑19 Mar 2021 10:24If Cousins hadn't just been paid 35 million, I think everyone would say him. Every Championship the Packers have, their defense was ranked in the top 4 for PPG. Every single one.NCF wrote: ↑23 Mar 2021 10:06Fair point, but I don't think even you believe it. Most teams outside of the Chiefs in 2019 have a top 5 to top 7 defense as a requirement to win it all.Raptorman wrote: ↑23 Mar 2021 14:19Every Championship the Packers have, their defense was ranked in the top 4 for PPG. Every single one.
Every one of Brady's SB victories except one, he had a top 10 defense. The one he didn't have a top 10 defense, they were 11th. 87 out of 110 Super Bowl teams have had a top 10 defense. Of the 23 that didn't, 9 won and 14 lost. So, it's a pretty big part of the game.go pak go wrote: ↑23 Mar 2021 14:28Most teams outside of the Chiefs in 2019 have a top 5 to top 7 defense as a requirement to win it all.
I think APB's point is historic defense which is something completely different than being a top 5 defense in a league during a year.
Nobody will dispute that.Raptorman wrote: ↑23 Mar 2021 14:57Every one of Brady's SB victories except one, he had a top 10 defense. The 1996 Packers defense only gave up 19 TDs in the regular season.Raptorman wrote: ↑23 Mar 2021 14:19Every Championship the Packers have, their defense was ranked in the top 4 for PPG. Every single one.
