Pack is Back in the drivers seat for a first round BYE. D is incredible.
Oh....Special Teams may have improved too.

"Special" is still the wrong word, but they went from "Abysmal" teams to "Almost competent" teams. Still marked down for the missed field goal.RingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑14 Nov 2021 19:09Pack is Back in the drivers seat for a first round BYE. D is incredible.

FWIW, I believe it isn't guaranteed, but I think it is highly likely the Cowboys best control their own destiny for #1 seed.
Head to head with us, I think something like a 90% chance they will end up with the tiebreaker over us, say we are both 15-2 and Arizona is not.

Yup. For now they would be. Same Conference Record. Common opponent would go to DAL due to Chiefs matchup.BF004 wrote: ↑14 Nov 2021 20:40FWIW, I believe it isn't guaranteed, but I think it is highly likely the Cowboys best control their own destiny for #1 seed.

Cowboys have Chiefs, Raiders (Thanksgiving), then division matchups the 3 weeks in December, AZ and PHI

Cowboys and Packers both had:
week 1 loss to NFC South team
7 straight wins
Loss to an AFC West team
Won in week 10
8-2
Talk about parallel seasons.

Coaches are irrelevant.

What?RingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑11 Nov 2021 09:12RingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑10 Nov 2021 20:31Unless you think the Packers will lose to Baltimore on the road, I'd recommend imagining a 15-2 record and a 1st round BYE. Study the remaining schedule .... looks to be a table runner.
Defense, Defense!! Go Packers!!

Unless this team gets Bakh back into the lineup at 100% and most of the following (Jones , Myers, Gary, Z, Jaire), they are going nowhere in the playoffs. Jenkins and Tonyan and Hill are done for the season, probably Mercilus too.
1 and done, regardless of the seeding or the opponent or where the game is played. They are missing 8 of their top 12 or so players. The only top players left are Rodgers and Adams and Amos and Savage, Clark and Campbell.
Enjoy every regular season win from here on out, its probably going to be a long offseason

This team will be good to go as long as the following happens:TheSkeptic wrote: ↑24 Nov 2021 06:43Unless this team gets Bakh back into the lineup at 100% and most of the following (Jones , Myers, Gary, Z, Jaire), they are going nowhere in the playoffs. 1. Alexander and Smith come back and are effective. Z Smith worries me the most on being effective just because we have no idea on his strength. But we need 3 pass rushers.
2. Bakh comes back and is effective or Yosh plays like he did vs MN.
3. Josh Meyers comes back and is a significant improvement over Patrick.
4. Deguara sees some progression. Honestly I don't think Tonyan had a strong year anyway so tight end is the position I think we can overcome the most.
I still have hope for the season and January. But we do need 23, 55, 69 to be effective and our interior Oline to play better.

What's all this talk about needing guys to come back? The only player we need is Rodgers.
How do you think we won all these games already?
We won Super Bowl 45 with like the most injuries in the league that year. Yes I would like Z and Bakhtiari and Jaire to come back, but this a good team with or without them.
