2022 Dynasty League Discussion

Cheesy topics (like the Cheese Curds thread) go here. Topics that aren't Packer related will be moved here as well.

Mmmm.... cheese.

I'm really cool with anything. I do prefer the div and playoff set up as is but if it gets voted out all good.

I like the taxi idea and hell 20 or 25 "entry" fee each year sign me up.

Thanks commissioners for the leg work

I am against eliminating Divisions and against changing play-off participants based on total points (even for the top scorer). I am for extending the regular season a week to achieve or old familiar play-off format. I am for taxi or expanded rosters, whatever proposals seem to have the most traction.
Sorry I went football MIA for a while, but I agree with NCF's sentiments all around from a quick review of the thread.

How's free agency affecting everyone's team so far?

I've got Wentz heading to Washington to further exacerbate my over-investment in that offense (RB Antonio Gibson, TE Logan Thomas, WR Dyami Brown). Not sure he can be better there than in Indy, but Wentz keeping a starting job is a win in my book, honestly.

Christian Kirk to Jags is probably a wash. He's in a less crowded receiving room, but also a worse offense, an unproven QB, and a new head coach. Jury remains out.

John Conner signing a "I am the starter" deal in Arizona while Chase Edmunds leaves to compete for a starting job in Miami is GREAT for my RB situation. They were valuable when the other was injured, and a crap shoot when both were healthy.

Jarvis Landry on the street; will be very interested to see if he can get somewhere with an established passing offense that needs a cog like him. But he also could sign as a #1 somewhere and be overmatched. Lots of production possibilities there.

I guessed wrong on the QB carousel this year by grabbing Josh Rosen as a zombie top ten prospect who had a year as a backup instead of Mitch Trubisky. Teddy Bridegwater still without a starting job so far. Hoping he lands in New Orleans or Indy or something.

Jacob Eason maybe can out compete Drew Lock to be the Seahawks' starter, but I won't hold my breath.

Jeudy should be better with Wilson in house, so that's nice.

Still awaiting landing spots for Rob Tonyan and Cedric Wilson

Oh boy...

Didn't actually do too bad...if they're on a team that is.

1 guy is a free agent, not sure he's worth keeping.

There's been a bit over Murray that he wants a new contract. Julio is Julio.

Got a buttload of receivers that I don't know what to. I got Jimmy G waiting. Minshew is a chamber in the bullet if he takes it.

Oh, and something happened with Calvin Ridley. Not sure what.

As bad as my QB situation has been, it got worse. Love will not be GB's QB next year, and Mayfield is a total ???

I kind of feel like everyone's team got worse at QB.

Just a bunch of old vets going to mostly worse situations, a few retirements, no real young guys stepping up and taking starting jobs who weren't playing last year, and not a very promising draft.

We should probably shore up some of our proposed changes before we do draft.

I tried!! I really wanted to, but this 2022 QB class is down right scary bad.

That's my situation - I wanted to pull the trigger on a trade but then I'd have been giving up an established QB and using the draft picks for dart throw QBs.

Anyone alive in this league? Are we still doing it?

If we are, these players are on the block:

Drew Lock
Keenan Allen
Michael Thomas
Rashaad Penny
Kareem Hunt
Kenny Golladay
Tre'Quan Smith
Dallas Goedert
Travis Kelce

Looking for:
QB? WR? Picks?

If you have received a QB trade offer from me this offseason, I am likely still interested.

And now I'd be willing to include a starting QB back, whether it be Tua, Kirk or Mills after this trade. Or Mond or Trask if that is your fancy.

Feel free to make me an offer.

I am so abysmal at roster management. Mills, who o drafted in the 4th and then cut…. Just got traded with a 3rd for a 1st!? One year later?

My god.

BF I’m thinking on yours. I know thinking night cost me. But I don’t feel urgency around it. I anticipate this will be my least active trading year in a bit. My team is young so I want to see how my guys play out a little more.

It’s just a little trade for obvious reasons for me. ;)
