April fools: "McGinn's" brutal WR draft rankings

Haha! Yeah, I fell for it. I could totally see McGinn putting out a Hot Take like "There are no Round 1 or 2 WRs!" in a deep receiver draft.

Do we have to tell Yoop eventually?

Watch Peter Bukowski's "Packers Need Speed" episode. It's said there.bud fox wrote: ↑01 Apr 2022 15:19Where is that stat from about being most open wrs? I think speed is what we need most.
The Packers ranked #1 last year in WRs being "open" and "wide open"
Our scheme is designed to get players open. So the next thing is having players able to do something with it once they have the space.
I'm gonna pull a yoop and say I don't have time to look it up - and quite frankly I don't really want to. I'm over the "everything is linked to Rodgers" conversations. But I have seen that from other places in the past too. Schematically the Packers do a really good job of getting players in space.
It was really good because yoop loooooves McGinn. Until it goes against something he wants to believe.
salmar80 Is this a rest of the world thing or just a made up US thing?

Use a 1 and a 4 to trade for Metcalf
Use the other 1 and 4 to move up and grab Olave or Williams
Use the two 2s and the 3 to draft an Edge, OT, and a (TE or Safety).

Love is the answer…
Whether they suck or not?

You heard the man.
ya I'd like to see that myself, Rodgers forced the ball to Adams 150 times last year into constant double coverage while everyone else was wide openbud fox wrote: ↑01 Apr 2022 15:19Where is that stat from about being most open wrs? Where did the Packers rank in missing wide open receivers in key down and distance situations?go pak go wrote: ↑01 Apr 2022 07:25The case I like about the Wilsons, Olaves and Williams of this draft is they do seem to have good speed in their tape.

Um. My entire knowledge has its foundation in the Simpson's. I won many a High School Quiz Bowl competitions (vs nerdy homeschoolers no less...) to the surprise of the people watching how "I know stuff" because of the Simpson's.
April Fool's Day was started by Pagans as it was their New Year. The Christians ridiculed the pagans for their whacky calendar. I guess could be British. But more like North Umbria, Wessex, Mercia Britain.
And to brighten the day. Here is a great Simpson's April Fools Day episode. The level of jokes in this show still has me laughing to this day.

seriously now, don't you think the abundance of quality OL and edge rushers over whelms your eval of the WR's along with 3 safety in the top 30 ?
again I will go back to the big boards, Edge and OL top Jeremiah's top 50 with 9 each, wr 8, lber 5, cb 5, dt 5, safety 4 qb 4 and rb 2
without looking edge and OL seem higher then usual, as well as WR
Trying to keep JustJeff's thing going... He got us good a few times.
Real McGinn hasn't done his WR piece yet. For the "WR analysis", I just copy-pasted all the negative off NFL.com's evaluations (except for Jameson, that one I made up) without any of the positives. If you omit the positives, everyone looks like a 3rd rounder at best.
