We're getting owned on both lines of scrimmage, which isn't TOO surprising. They have a really good OL and our OL is beat up.

But I did think we'd fare a little better in the pass rush.

What is surprising me is that no one (targeted) has been even remotely open aside from Doubs on the missed 3rd down early. I don't know if Love isn't seeing the right guys or making the right reads--which he's been really good at but is definitely possible--or if their coverage is just beasting our young receivers.

But that really has not been what I've expected.

Honestly our run D against their RBs has been mediocre. It looks bad because they just keep trying it (and Goff and Kalif Raymond have longer first down runs). But like down-to-down, Montgomery and Gibbs are having to get tough yards when they get yards. Though the 2 plays from the 7 were pretty easy. Might be worn down.

They don’t win too often when they don’t use Aaron Jones. No touches in the first quarter.

I really think that MLF needs to SCRAP those slow, lateral plays. Period.
That was option. They Lions read the &%$@ out of it.
Yeah, clearly. But our other lateral plays in four weeks haven't done much at all.
I disagree. I think with Jones they were good.

What is that old song? "Momma said there'd be days like this".

I was disappointed MLF didn't try to establish the run after our early interception. We finally get Jones back and you don't give him a handoff until we are down by 21 points? smh

Took the night off from work to watch this game. So deflating as a fan right now. I can't really see whats going on downfield with packer recievers but this has been pretty bad for Love. Cant get seem to do anything on either side of the ball

You have dog &%$@ leadership from President to GM to coaches. And QB.
Sorry, but you are insufferable. Any hint of anything bad, you take it away from the game and talk about such &%$@. It is why many people don't even participate in these threads.
Mute me then. The only time I ever see your bitch ass is when you quote me.

Confirmed. Just checked. Montgomery has 10 carries for 27 yards

Gibbs got 7 yards on each of his 2 carries. He's their "we don't use Aaron Jones"

Quay Walker has been a bright spot today. He's being physical and fast.

But also he might have freelanced on that second Montgomery TD when he looked to be the most likely guy to fill the big gap the commentators highlighted.

$%@# A Reed! If you are going to grab it off the bounce make sure you don't look downfield while you try it!!!

Maybe time to get Reed out from punt returns. That was absolutely asinine.

Been coming into his own this year, especially on the run D side.

You can tell Love is expecting good blocking. His urgency in the pocket is lacking.

Great job to avoid the safety and get a neutral play out of a potential negative, but overall he like slid over and relaxed too soon back there.
