Rodgers is really, really, really, good but he's not perfect. Sorry if that factual statement offends anyone.
probably the most accurate statement concerning this topic, problem is that still is not good enough, he has to do better :hail:

It is a shame too, because when he is not on a rant he has good opinions to share. But whenever anyone disagrees with his pet topics it is like he can't help himself.

I find it... Ironic, that the most opinionated and "loudest" tend to be those that can't handle when their opinions are challenged.

cry me a river, you've attacked almost all my post for 12 years, called me a liar, it's not having a opinion questioned, it's the way you do it

one example, I say ILB isn't a easy transfer, your comeback is to show me how easy it is for rookies to be two dn lbers, while thats true enough, it surely wasn't what I meant, I was speaking about coverage, which is much harder, as we know, we've had to sub in a DB ever since Barnett left, yet you had to take that out of context to attack my comment, so don't hand me this crap that I attack others, I'am not into the games men ship with twisting what a person says, or your grade school questioning, It's why I cancelled you out, I think it's best that way, and I'll let it go at that

I like AR. Actually respect is a better word. But for taking up so much of the cap he needs to play better in the postseason.

That's kind of where I'm at. I'm done playing dignitary to trolls. I'm going to call out sh*t more and do more memes to make fun of posts more.

And if I say something that is stupid...let me know. I have no problem being wrong. In fact I like it. I invite it. But it better beyond just emotional pet topic responses.

I'm getting tired of those.

As sick as this may sound to some of you .......... I kind of enjoy observing you Packers fans joust and spew as you do. It shows your great Packers passion, intensity and drive. Beats the evening news for sure! I don't know if the police will allow much more of this in the future or not. In interest of Just Jeff's accountability and transparency ........... who are the police these days anyway? Maybe we need new rules :dunno:

I'm kind of late to the party here and a little shocked that we can keep beating the same dead horses. But I guess I will continue to say that while I think Rodgers is a better QB than Brady, the main difference why Brady has more rings is that he is better at pre-snap reads and wins routes before the play even starts. To try and prove my point, here are the WRs Brady had completions to in his last 4 Super Bowl Wins:

2015 Pats - Edelman, Amendola, LaFell
2017 Pats - Edelman, Amendola, Mitchell, Hogan
2019 Pats - Edelman, Patterson, Hogan
2020 Bucs – Evans, Godwin, Brown

Outside of the Bucs team, I like our WRs better than these. What separated Aaron for years was his escapability and keeping the play going to find an open guy. Now that he is older he needs to play more like Brady and trust his pre-snap read. Sometimes it's hard to teach old dogs new tricks, but I think that is why Brady has stayed so successful in his later years, he never had to change his style of play.

Would better talent at WR help, of course, but I also think we are good enough to win with who we have now. Before you bring up Gronk, I think having Adams on our team was the equivalent to Brady having Gronk.

I had written up another post that I meant to submit right after my last one but must not have submitted....

Rodgers over-targeting Adams does not reflect how he feels about the other receivers, i.e. that he does not trust him. He spams the ball to Adams because he thinks that's good football. That, not distrust, is really why he missed Lazard (and EQ too by the way) on that play.

This is a man who, in McCarthy's last year with us, was visibly upset (emphasis here re: yoop's claim that I just take everyone at their word; it's not that hard to tell apart when someone is being sincere or not) and complained -- after A WIN -- because we did not get the ball to Adams enough. Adams had 8 catches and 81 yards on the day. The offense did sputter out in the second half after starting the game well, so it's not entirely irrational that Rodgers was frustrated about their production, but he was very resolute that the answer = More Adams. That's not necessarily the one true answer.

He's not a "take what the defense gives"-guy, and frankly he's not really a "spread the ball around guy"-either, which is why I am not persuaded by the insistence that if we just had one more good receiver, we would have won those games. He's a "get the ball to your best player"-guy. That's not necessarily even a wrongheaded belief, it may even be the most sensible one 9 times out of 10.

The problem is sometimes you need to adapt to the situation at hand and sometimes the circumstances in the game warrant making some other player the star of the show, and I think that this is where Rodgers (and for that matter, LaFleur) has dropped the ball multiple times, e.g. neglecting the run with Dillon in the Bucs loss.

To piggyback on this post as well as my last one.... a big part of the Pats success is not just TB12's GOAT QB play, but also the fact that you never know what you are going to get from Bill Belichick on any given week.

One week, a very underwhelming talent like RB Brandon Bolden will put up ProBowl numbers.
Next week, Bolden will not even suit up.

TT and Gute were/are better GMs -- in terms of adding talent to the roster -- than Belichick, who for the most part puts scheme fit way above pure talent, so it's not like the Pats had better players to work with than we did. Yet his success came from figuring out which players would give him the best chance to win on a given week and utilizing them accordingly.

I will admit upon rereading my post that he lashed out at that it was kind of provocative, so fair is fair. Also, I don't really take offense to remarks like that; I just laugh at them.

Lazard sucks.
He really doesn't, but that's beside the point. Jimmy Graham definitely sucked in his time here, but Rodgers specifically named him in post-game press conferences as a guy they needed to get the ball to more (which, of course, doesn't make sense if he actually thought Graham sucks).

Bottom line: our opinions =/= Rodgers's opinion.

Oh and **edit** let's not forget the legend that is JAKE KUMEROW, in which Rodgers confirmed the story that he was upset at the FO for cutting him because he liked the guy so much. Kumerow was adequate, nothing more, and the definition of replaceable. Cutting him was only a mistake in that we chose Darius Shepherd over him, not that he was some big loss.

Rodgers loved that guy. And Lazard is a better player than him.
