The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff

Oh yeah! Hooker is still on the board.
Have the stream muted to listen to player conference calls (Reed says he likes playing in the slot because he likes "attacking guys and running right at their feet..." and also grew up a Bears fan)
And so the QB talk had slipped past me.

OMG THE EAGLES
Sydney Brown
I know the tackling, but dang the playmaking to replace CGJ at the nickel/safety role

Yeah. Sydney Brown was my hope for our 3rd round pick.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑28 Apr 2023 20:26OMG THE EAGLES

No reason to expect anything from Toure. I like him but 7th round. And I think he can still be a boundary honestly. Melton I liked too. Had him in a ton of mocks but he’s special teams only really.
Cancelled by the forum elites.
Can’t say I’d have take those players at those spots.
But if you said we traded back and two extra picks and went edge, te, wr, I’d have been very happy.

This is definitely true. Just to clarify, while I like those guys, when I said that with them on the roster we need more size, I meant "I'd prefer if the guys trying to take the little men's jobs were bigger men" and that if we don't add any additional WRs, the little men will stay.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑28 Apr 2023 20:30No reason to expect anything from Toure. Even though I like them. 7th round picks and waiver claims of 7th round picks are not reasons to avoid adding to a position. So I agree.
Hendon is gonna light up Detroit starting 2024.

The Lions draft picks almost make more sense if you read them in reverse. No one had Gibbs in the 3rd or anything. But seriously, if someone told you Wednesday that the Lions first five picks were this, wouldn't it be just as believable as the way they actually went?
1 (12) Hendon Hooker, Tennessee, QB
1 (18) Brian Branch, Alabama, S
2 (3) Sam LaPorta, Iowa, TE
2 (14) Jack Campbell, Iowa, ILB
3 (5) Jahmyr Gibbs, Alabama, RB

Our pick 3rd round pick is coming up. Could probably go anywhere here. DL will need to be addressed eventually.
Ya haha. Only thing with there draft is like didn’t they give up 300+ rushing yards to the panthers?? Like where is the beef in the trenches?YoHoChecko wrote: ↑28 Apr 2023 20:40The Lions draft picks almost make more sense if you read them in reverse. No one had Gibbs in the 3rd or anything.
