Not sure how far back you'd have to go, but I'm definitely thinking of TJ Lang and Josh Sitton.
Josh Sitton imho is one of the most under rated Guards the teams ever had, just a road grader, that line of Cliffy Sitton Wells Lang and Bulaga was one of the best OL's we've had in the modern era, Cliffy was the big name guy, But Sitton to me was the best OLiner we had back then, to bad injury's depleeted his ability some.
I don't know who is underrating Sitton or that line. The 2010 - 2014 Oline and 2001 - 2003 Oline are regarded as the best lines in Green Bay modern era history. Competing against the great Lombardi lines.
thanks for the info, Heres a clip from Bleacher report, they ranked Sitton #6 on that SB roster, I think they meant Sitton was under rated by the league, which was my opinion.

6. Josh Sitton: There may not be a more underrated offensive lineman in the game than Sitton. He's a mauler in the run game and is hands down the Packers best player up front.

thats from bleacher report, they don't allow there link to be dragged.

It's weird being on the other side. Like I don't look at Dallas as a rival anymore because we always beat them. It's funny how "rivalry" teams can have completely different perspective depending on side.

The 90s the Cowboys had us 9-1, which was my Packers formative years, so... $%@# the Cowboys! ;)

It's because we did.

The NFL schedule sets teams up to do that. You can go in a cycle of playing at a conference opponent 3 times in a row (regular season). Then add in playoffs and it can seem like you always play a conference rival at their place.

It happened to us in the 90s with Dallas.
It happened to us in the 2000's with Philly.
It happened to us in the 2020's with SF.

It happened to us and SEA in the mid 2010's (pre 2014 in SEA. Post 2014 in GB).
It is currently happening to the LA Rams at GB.

During the 1950s, Landry was the Giants defensive coach and Lombardi was the Giants offensive coach. Of course we all know that Lombardi won all the Packers - Cowboys games in the 1960s :)

I'm older, but Dallas owned us in the 70s & 80s as well.

I here tell the 60s were a much better time for Packer fans when it came to the Cowboys but that was before my time.

And yes, when it comes to $%@# the Cowboys! ;) always and ever more until the day I die.

Is that on drives where Watson scores, or where he catches it (might or might not score)?

I think the Boys beat us in the playoffs three straight years before our 96 team finally advanced. We didn’t play them in January that year.

EVERY team owned us in the late 70s and the 80s.

thats right, I forgot that connection Ringo :aok: those two Giants cords became two of the best HC's the league ever had, I had a lot of respect for both.

Thanks 23! It’s considering every drive that Watson PLAYS in, not necessarily catching a TD or even any pass at all.

The takeaway seems to be that Green Bay scores considerably MORE points if Watson enters the huddle than when we doesn’t. The average yards gained be drive also increases by something like 9.9 yards.

I don’t know how much impact then that Watson’s 4 catches and 3 TDs will make, but it sure isn’t gonna hurt.

Does it go beyond saying that no other WR on the squad demands the respect from the defense that Watson does?

It could also mean that a lot of time and energy was/is spent game planning with him in the game and when he is not it throws it all out of whack.
