It is bizarre. Espeically because of how many WRs come to the NFL draft year after year that the free agent market for average WRs is just so aburdly high.
There are just so many other positions I think makes sense to put dollars to other than WR. I hate spending on average period but average WR especially makes no sense due to how plentiful they are to draft.
Yep, the only way I would want us to spend a ton of $$$ on a WR is if it's to keep our own or if there is a game changer out there that would put us over the hump (which rarely happens).

I guess the Rams want to corner the fan base market in the Asian sector.

Saw that too. Assuming all Asians in rival countries want to cheer for the same team is kinda ignorant.

But then the ignorance leaves when you realize the Rams are geographically the closest NFL team to Asia and the furthest away from Europe and Africa.

Meanwhile Green Bay picks up Packers fans all over Europe left and right with no official team marketing.

Seattle and SF are actually closer to Asia than LA.

becomes more like just a run play, slows the high speed collisions, requires quality run style blocking to spring the ball carrier past the 30 yrd line.
this seems like a good thing all around, not sure why the Packers rejected this, it seems a perfect situation for us, we have a very good returner with Nixon, glad it passed.

You don't make a decision on a rule that could stay in the game in perpetuity based on a player you have for a couple of years.

I heard Andy Herman report the challenge rules will also change this season. If you succeed with either challenge, you shall receive a third challenge. Instead of having to succeed with your first, in order to receive a third.

The flip-side, of course, is that we have to cover more kick-offs.
