Bill Belicheck quote, "We're building a team. Not collecting talent."
C'mon what does he know?

Would love to see Hendrickson in green and gold!
I think his style will last the longest as he ages also. He is a bully with great technique

Yeah I don't understand the Bengals thought process here. I would rather have Hendrickson over Tee Higgins and yet they are doing the opposite.

prospect of injury or decline is probably greater at DE than WR, plus he's 4 or 5 years younger

The thing is the compensation Cinci will demand, plus the length of the contract and how much is guaranteed, he might be the best buy though, every good UFA rusher will benefit after the Raiders made Crosby so rich, I don't really care though, 30 mil seems the going rate for a player like Hendrickson

Underrated stud. Could definitely see the Packers show surprise interest in him.

Coming off a torn pec plus 2 bad years and 30 years old. Game might have passed him by.

Geno Smith to Raiders. Didn’t really see that coming. Wonder what Seattle is thinking at QB as the team should be fighting for a playoff spot and doesn’t have a lot of cap to sign one.

They’re rebuilding. Released Lockett. Trading Geno and DK. They can build this year and stink it up with some backup worthy QB and get and early pick to get their guy at QB in a better QB class.

Free Agency begins on Monday, right? So, how many deals will be leaked out by this time tomorrow (Sunday)?
I am hoping that we will hear of Guty getting two FAs by Wednesday at lunchtime. Maybe he waits for some deals to pass to set the market and then he acts. But if there's a guy he signs on Monday, that would be huge.

Is this the first time a player said they wanted out and the team won?

Myles Garrett and Joe Thomas. Two of the greatest players at their position all time just completely wasted sticking around waiting for that dumpster to get turned around.

Money talks. Will be interesting to see how he plays considering he has no real motivation to do anything but show up and watch his team suck to collect $ for the rest of his prime.

maybe, but players like Garrett play for more than just money, money just sets the value perspective amongst peers, they also have little control of leaving to chase a ring, most that do that don't end up with one, the 3 years guaranteed is what imho hurts the game, hurts teams.
Crosby 35 mil., Garrett 40, how much will we pay Hendricksen? ouch

100+ million guaranteed. I'd call that a win for Garrett.
