Seems Jimbo hasn't lost that level of arrogance that makes him so...special.

I saw those tweets yesterday and glad you guys were able to post them. Just another example of why I don't like Harbaugh and wonder why people still want him in this league. I'm actually glad the Vikings saw this, wised up, and went another direction. Glad I don't have to see him twice a year.
So for now, Pete Carroll is still the most annoying coach in the NFL.

I have to ask this and not rhetorically. Is there a current (or even recent) NFL HC that has/had as much baggage as Eric Bieniemy would come with? I am all for second chances and he has seemingly kept his nose clean for a long time, but his past is clearing what is holding him back, IMO, not the color of his skin. I just want a comparison. Is there a recent HC with as checkered a background that was overlooked?

I guess I don't know his background. What happened?

Probably the most damning:
Colorado police once again arrested Bieniemy, then in the NFL, in September 1993. The Orlando Sentinel reported that Bieniemy allegedly grabbed a female parking attendant by the neck and threatened her.

Interesting that African American GM was hired to the bears from the Chiefs...and he was given full reign to hire a coach...and he didn’t even interview his old coworker benemey
Interesting, no?

Nothing against Doug. It's the Jaguars.

I think Bieniemy has earned a shot, but I don't know that his lack of an opportunity is that much of a shocker. In addition to his criminal past (which came a long time ago iirc), it's also possible that he sucks at interviews. Also, Andy Reid is the mastermind behind that offense, not Bieniemy.
That being said, I think he's stayed out trouble long enough and regardless of who deserves credit for their offense, I'd easily give him a shot.

Jags were in the AFC championship game not toooo long ago, have what some consider a high end QB prospect already in house, have tons of cap space, and just hired a super bowl winning coach.
Good day for Doug and the Jags if you ask me

They are a mess of an organization that can't get anything right. Unless I was desperate to come back as a coach, I wouldn't work there until they show they are headed in the right direction.
But decisions like Urban Meyer and how they handled that, having no fan base and essentially being a UK home team already, holding on to a GM no one seems to want (including Doug), and plenty of other reasons.... It just wouldn't appeal to me at all. There's trying to turn around a program, and then there is dealing with long term ineptitude. I'd be out on Jaguars and Redskins for sure, and would have major questions on joining either New Jersey team, Raiders, and Browns.
