If the Aints can finish 3rd in the NFC South, they'll be bringin' it back to Lambeau in 2025. Otherwise it will be the Panthers. Also AFC West and NFC West 3rd place finishers.

Would looooove to face the Saints next season. Their salary cap shenanigans are finally coming to bite them, and they are gonna be 60+M over the cap at start of new league year. They'll have to gut the roster and will be a laughingstock of the league for a year or few...

That's quite a shift from the past 3 decades of measuring game success by the number of receivers we had with a catch isn't it? Jacobs is a beast, the other 2 hold their own and we have a few WR's that can stretch it and put their foot in the ground and get up field. I like what we're cooking with these days.

Good win. Not perfect. Yeah, I still think our O left points on the field. But we still are trending upward overall.

Next week will actually be pointless. But tell that to the Vikes and Packers. They are gonna play like crazy.
MN won't think so. They got #1 seed on their mind. They control their own destiny

Pointless? If MN stumbles we could still get the top WC spot, right?
Sure. On paper. Either way, we will be on the road for our entire playoff run. This game will be more about pride than anything. The Vikes could try to get the first seed, but that isn't a given.

Yeah. I was thinking more about the Pack. But you're right about the Vikes.

I also don't think the Vikes are any less than we are at this point. Darnold has been great. Their D is top notch. And they have diverse weapons on offense too. I'm thinking this game will boil down to which HC plays better. One edge the Pack might have is keeping their QB cleaner than the Vikes. At least I'm hopeful for that. If Love can operate without being harassed, then I like our chances against anybody.

5th seed could host. It would not be all that improbable. GB and MN win their round 1 games. Go into Philly and Detroit and win. 5th seed hosts.

Impressive. Shutting out a team that's missing their starting QB, RB, two top WR's and a few other players. I wonder how the Packers would do with Love, Jacobs, Reed and Watson on the sideline.

And yet what we did has never been done in the 100+ year history of the NFL!

AND we are first team to shut out a team in 2024!

hahaha look, the collection of random stats quoted is ridiculous. But the first shutout in the NFL this season is NOT. I listened to ESPN and they talked about it. I listened to NFL Good Morning and they mentioned it. This isn't something only Packers fans care about.

And also, the Saints have been playing football shorthanded every week. And haven't been shut out. The Giants starting roster is worse than most backups. And haven't been shut out.

When something happens that hasn't been done, you can't just point at circumstances because if circumstances were all it took, it would be happening more often

Look, the Vikings beat us. They have a better record. They're in the hunt for the division and the 1-seed. You have some space to look down on us right now.

But to say that "only Packers fans" will care about a 34-0 win on Monday night without even playing our best ball... you lose the upper hand here. You just look like an homer without any basis in rationality or reason. Obviously it stinks never winning a championship and consistently looking up to your big brother team. Obviously it feels good to have a year where you're out performing them. But if you want to disparage a 11-4 team with the best DVOA in the league the past 5 weeks and a 5-game 30-point scoring streak and a top 8 scoring defense.... well, you're gonna look silly and petty. And hopefully after this Sunday, you're going to look wrong. But that remains to be seen.

Yeah. I think the more realistic goal for this team is continual improvement. And if that occurs, it won't matter where we play. Other teams say that too. But they don't have a record of that happening in January. Green Bay does.
