I really enjoy the announced holdout when no activities are actually happening.

Like, "I'm not holding out FROM anything, but I would, if there was something to old out from"

Honestly, the VIkings' offseason is my happy place this offseason.
Actually, they have been holding virtual whatever training. And It's my understanding that the Vikings made him an offer that apparently wasn't high enough.

Would be awesome if the hold out lasted into the season. Unfortunately for him, even though he is underpaid..the vikings dont have any money to pay him with so he will not get an extension that he likes. So he can choose to hurt his reputation and look like melvin gordon while the Vikings do fine with Mattison, or he can come to play and be open to leaving the team for big money when he is free from the contract. He has no leverage.

He can hold out, but he does not have a lot of leverage in my book.
Has Cook made it through a whole year without injury yet? :idn:
2017 - 4
2018 - 11
2019 - 14

Going in the right direction at least!
Yeah, I'm gonna say he doesn't have a lot to stand on right now.

Well if you can't go to the stadium this fall you could get yourself a bear tag. My nephew got one last year. Bear meat is pretty good. I thought it would taste like pork but it is much more like beef.

Had what looked like a juvenile black bear walk through the yard on Monday. I believe the same one walked through our construction site that is 4 miles away. Construction manager was 100 feet from him.

All here for the joke, well played.

But honestly, I think the Bears are a bigger concern than the Vikings this season. A sneaky 8-8 last year. If Foles is marginally better than Mitch and Nagy can at least improve his coaching instincts and decisions an iota, could easily see them battle for a wild card slot, while the Vikings, coming off of a 10-6 year, most definitely got worse this offseason. :)

good article, I've had a bunch of situations with black bear, twice picking berry's and mushrooms and came near face to face with one, and we both where in complete surprise, I was down wind both times so naturally the bear didn't smell me or I would most likely never have seen him at all as he like all black bears would have avoided me completely, when we see a blackie at a distance it's due to the fact they are unable to smell us and they can't make out if we are a danger, they don't see as well as we do, and they are simply not sure just what the heck we are.

I was bow hunting Elk in the south western region of Colo. back around 1980 ( back then I was a great white hunter ya know  ) and heading to my stand had to cross a field (about a 100 yrds) I just got started into it when I noticed a black blob on the other side, however he/she heard me and stood up and looked at me, I stood still not knowing what to do (novice) that standoff went on till I decided 10 minutes later (which seemed like a hour) to go hunt in some other spot  sure If I had advanced it's probable the Bear would have taken off, but who argues with a Bear?

Would you guys prefer the season is just shut entirely, or get like week 6 or 10 and then have it shut down? Assuming we don't see playoff football this year.

Any football is better than no football.

NFL getting it right.

I would have to say that if any league is competent enough/has the willpower to correctly pull this off...i trust it would be the nfl.

49ers just lost Deebo for 3-4 months, a conference opponent got weaker today, at least for probably the first 6 games.
