At this rate winning 9 games in 2025 will be a stretch.
f*ck it. Throw in the towel for 2026 and 2027 too while we're at it.
2025 Yes.
2026 etc No
Terrible. Even for you. Simply horrible.

Nice deal for a really talented player on a crappy team.

Was Kirk Cousins SO bad last year that no one is floating his name around as a starting option? Is Atlanta unwilling to move him or does no one want him? Kirk and this year's reclamation projects like a Trey Lance or Daniel Jones... I would take a swing, but then you have the New York Jets giving $30M guaranteed to Justin Fields who, for some reason, deserves a 5th chance.

Us oldies are running out of time, are losing our patience, and are getting no eye candy, no assurances of pot sweetening, it's twiddle, and twiddle except for last season with UFA, no way a stinking guard is going to pacify us either

I know Pickens has some issues, but man I would love for this to happen. Pickens to Green Bay. Take the chance. I think there is huge reward here. With Loves penchant for throwing deep and sometimes contested balls, Pickens would seem to fit perfectly. I am not sure there is a better WR right now at tracking deep balls and making plays. Just my opinion and I have mentioned it before. Not sure the price. It would probably make our RB happy also.

No one wants to take on his contract. His cap hit this year is only $40 million, but the next two years it's $57 million. And if Atlanta cuts him, it's a $65 million cap hit. Now, post June 1st that drops to $40 million. So, expect to see that happen.

From what I have seen Pickens isn't a receiver who gives effort in blocking. Is that true or am I just equating his antics with his effort?

I am not sure about his ability. I think what you are referring to was him pouting like a baby and literally refusing to play.

Pickens is an absolute headcase. Theres no doubt about that. I wouldnt trade anything for him and that doesnt even include you would have to extend him. Its just not worth the headcase to trade and pay.
Now I would absolutely love to get a time machine and go back in time and just do the logical thing which is take Pickens in the draft over Watson like a normal person.

Seahawks signing Cooper Kupp, another slot to team with the slot they have in JSN. They’ve had a rather interesting offseason. It looked like full rebuild now they sign several aging vets.

One more thing. Cousins has a no trade clause in his contract. Atlanta can't really move him. They can cut him, and I think they might. But not right away. I think they wait until everyone else has QB's signed and them cut him before training camp.

Cincy is the Yoopian paradise. They drafted an elite young QB, gave him an elite WR and top-notch WRs 2-3. They let Boyd walk, but broke the bank to run it back with the QB and WRs 1 & 2. Bold strategy, let's see how it works out for them...
