From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
Great day. Crosby earned that check, Big Bob looked good again (sorry Bob for doubting you in offseason), rodgers leg looked alright last drive. And we iced a game. Beautiful.
Couple things to improve. Need to get Jones the ball more. That he only had 4 touches in the first half was criminal. Kirksey is tentative and needs to see less time. We need to be more aggressive with our corners.
Adams was a beast. Amos played well. MVS had a nice comeback game. Clark made some noise.
Clark made a lot of noise. Detroit had real trouble keeping him in check.
That might've been MVS's most complete game.
I don't necessarily mind Jones' reduced touches when JWill is hot like today, but yeah, I see your point.

Only negative play I can recall was the decision to go to Adams on that late 4th quarter drive in the endzone rather than Lazard. Lazard was wide open which would have extended our drive, kept our defense off the field kept the clock going.
Feel bad for the defense. They just can't ever reduce their points allowed per game because either the offense or STs puts the defense in such a bad spot.
I saw Barnes on the field a lot more today, which hopefully means more of him and less Kirksey going forward.
when ya don't here a players name ever called concerning a positive play, thats not a good thing, Kirksey was mentioned maybe 4 times in this game, all bad news, while grabbing on a wheel is better then just letting the receiver go for a big gainer as the3 announcer said, it's better to just cover the guy well enough so the QB wont throw him the ball, none of our lbers cover well.
