I mean I said it all last year. People complained about Barry. This was not a Barry problem. You draft Savage who is a below mediocre S. You draft Stokes who is a mediocre CB. You draft Quay who is just a mediocre LB. You draft Wyatt who is a mediocre DT. You draft LVN who might be a good edge but so far he’s a mediocre player. Just because you invest the draft capital doesn’t make you good.

At some point you need to stop blaming Capers, and Pettine, and Barry, and Hafley. At some point you need to say we drafted some dog &%$@ players and blame the person putting the team together. I like what Gutenbumst has done to sustain the team as a playoff contender but he completely folded at building a SB contender.
You just like hearing yourself talk.

Defense wasn’t the reason this team lost. Ask MLF, Love & the offense about who lost the game and why.
I agree. The reason they lost is in the offense. But the defense still gave up 34. Despite having 6 first round picks and 2 big money FAs. On top of 2 more 2nd round picks.

Make your excuses but that should be enough to hold before 30. But who knows maybe 4 straight DCs just failed.

From the comments I've read here it looks like I didn't miss much. Is it worth my while to watch the replay on NFLN?

Week 1. Whatever. We lost week 1 in 2014. But an absolute should have been ass whooping and you see just mistakes across the board. Awful calls from LaFleur. Terrible passes and decision from Love. Defense again continues to be less physical. Especially from the highly drafted players. More missed kicks.

Good. Maybe the NFL will forget about games in S. America going forward?
