A win is a win. We are turning into a second half team.
Love rebounded after the INT. Wicks can't catch a cold. Reed is a playmaker. Kraft and McKinley are football players. Our kicker kicked.

Our young guys give me hope.
Our young safeties and Cooper are awesome. Stokes, Gary and Walker are liabilities right now. Nixon is on the edge.
The only player I can see turn it around from that group is Gary but my goodness. It's been like 12 games with 1 sack now.

Love is still too inaccurate and will give the other team 2-3 shots at a pick per game. The ball to Wicks towards the end was on Love not Wicks.

#GaryGang is in complete disarray.
The guy has never lived up to #12 overall. Ever.

Yes, it was a bit under thrown, but Wicks jumped too early, still got two hands on it, and dropped it

Based on this game, I changed my mind. The Packers need Doubs.

Good win.
Happy to see the niners lose.
But that just makes the game against the Cards next week all the more important. They arent scrubs.

So this week it's the Bucks instead of the Brewers taking the local broadcast. 97.3 is Bucks this week. Any idea where to listen to Packers OT?

Always love winning but
I still feel like the Packers need to get better in a few areas to approach the way they were playing late last year.
I realize he has been injured but I expect Jordan Love to compete for MVP's. He gave me that expectation 2nd half last year. He is not that guy right now as far as quick eye test goes. He is average right now. I want to see him dominate.

ya but good thing is that we are 3-2 with Love missing two of those games, the team seems to all know they can be a lot better (still hungry, not satisfied), and its only week 5 (plenty of time to grow), oh and we should be getting some help back soon...like Jaire, Wyatt, and Lloyd.

I’m ready to say it. Hafleys defense is worse than Barry’s. Barry sucked but he also had the worst safety room in the league for 2 years running IMO.
Worst.
Take.
Ever.

It did kinda remind of Pettine tho early in his tenure in GB. We bent alot, but ultimately made a play in the end. Pettine would do that alot early on.

Not saying I agree 100% with
@lupedafiasco , but our defensive MVP BY FAR is McKinney and he wasn't on the team last year. So where would the defense be without McKinney? Thats a fair question and observation on his part.

McKinney is a difference but we are also seeing attacking the QB in crunch time instead of playing soft as butter and giving them all day to find a target.

Today's defense was bizzare. It certainly felt a lot worse than giving up 13 points. Even if the Rams kicked a FG rather than the failed 4th down early in the game, it still was a 16 point game.
Just felt way worse. And frankly it could have been way better had we just tackled. It looked worse and felt worse than it ended up being.

Agree.
A few less drops would help. Them 3rd down drops for would be 1st downs are killers. Their like turnovers and we know that means everything to a game and its inarguable.

Exactly.
Barry was gutless and passive. Hafley’s defense at least attempts to stop the offense.
This defense today allowed 13 pts, had two 4th down stops, had two more turnovers and came up big in the biggest game closing moment.
Were there bad moments? Sure, just as there are with any defense. But to make that comparison, as consistently bad as Barry’s defenses were over a multi-year and multi-player era, is absurd.
