Leta also not underestimate him as a 4i or even 3 if he adds some pounds. He may have iDL in his future.
So sweet, we took someone at 13 and we don't know what position he is?
I don't, Packers do.

I wonder what the Jets do. They’re loaded at WR. They took a guard last year. So they do it again and take Torrence? Do they reach for Dawand Jones?
I am picturing their draft room extremely angry that Pitt just traded up.

Maybe NY trades down?

Joe Douglas already failing Aaron not getting him one of the top 4 offensive lineman.

They should have stayed at 13.
Oh god, they are gunna take JSN, arent they
I hope they do. Show how bad Gute is for everyone to clearly see.

Clay Mathews?
Not even close.
Right bigger and more upside
I think the point is that he has no off ball skills compared to clay, and Clay is border line HOF, I hate the comparison to Gary, I hope JSN is ready to start sooner, if he becomes another 13 slot developmental pick I know I wont be happy.

Feel like I had the exact same reaction today as I did for Gary.

High upside pick for sure, think, like Gary, he's gunna need a little time.

Although actually like he'll just be thrown into some early snaps regardless with Gary on ACL, then he can step back and 'learn to be a pro' as our front office says.
He isn't the athlete Gary is. Not bad, but not Gary. He was more productive in college. Still don't like it at 13.
Like three hours ago, I deleted a spreadsheet window that had an athletic comp between Gary and Van Ness because I didn't think I'd need it anymore since I had already pisted an image of it. Haha

Gary coming off ACL COULD BE ANOTHER away easily at least. I like this pick

He was less productive than Gary in college. Not really sure why Gary got that rep. 23 sacks as a true freshman, sophomore, junior,

He is similar to Gary, but lesser athlete, lesser prospect, against lesser competition with lesser production.

But this is a lesser draft to '19. And 13 is a lesser pick than 12.

Gary has legit DPOY potential, just don't think Van Ness ever will. Pro Bowls, maybe even all-pros possible, but Gary is a dawg.

I like him a lot, but this is early.

Why the F didn't they just give us Jermaine Johnson?

Yes, just like Christian Watson was a bust every other post weeks 3-6.

Seems like everyone here is pretty much okay with the pick other than wally..... and maybe I've been 2nd most critical?
