Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
I thought for sure "hell" was gonna top the destination list.

Yeah, but for a guy who was so consumed by legacy early in his career, he sure has put a tarnish on much of his football achievements later in his career with his off field antics.
Side note: Considering this waiting game he's now playing, that's actually more Favre-ish than actually going to MN.

I still don't know why fans think a 40+ year old QB who'll be joining a new team needs to decide TODAY or he's wrong for taking his time? Maybe both teams have said we want to see how the draft plays out. Maybe he doesn't know if he wants to commit to them yet. Maybe he's just enjoying life. nobody has to wait on him, that's the thing. They don't at all. They can do whatever they want whenever they want. If their held captive by a QB that has long surpassed 99% of the QB's who've ever played the game in terms of longevity, that's their own choice. Teams and fans alike.APB wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 06:49I thought for sure "hell" was gonna top the destination list.![]()

Are people actually surprised a guy who's spent 20 years in the NFL isn't sure if or who he wants to play for?
It does kinda make sense now...

The guy in the video seems like a douche. Break it down logically. Aaron Rodgers is doing nothing right now. Literally. And yet this guy accuses him of wanting to be the center of attention. Besides, if nobody in fact does want Aaron Rodgers to play for their team, then why do dweebs like this guy even care how long he takes to make a decision? If nobody wants him, why is so much time spent discussing it? Lol.APB wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 06:49I thought for sure "hell" was gonna top the destination list.![]()

I thought it was termed assisting the ball carrier behind the los would be penalized, such as the eagles and some others, by pushing the ball carrier from behind prior to crossing the los.musclestang wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 14:20Looked like a good ol' run of the mill QB sneak, that wasn't LOL
Concerning the tush push rugby play,
This should be easy. any contact with a ball carrier behind the LOS as a blocker is a penalty. Done deal. Nothing else has to change.
it seems it will still be allowed past the los.
I like this, to me pushing the ball carrier is not a football play, and specially in short yrd and distance

I honestly always thought this was the case, as well. You have Chuck Mercein famously saying that he wasn't signaling TD, he was making it clear he wasn't aiding the runner.Yoop wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 14:40I thought it was termed assisting the ball carrier behind the los would be penalized, such as the eagles and some others, by pushing the ball carrier from behind prior to crossing the los.

It was until sometime early or early teen 2000's. Then they basically said it was too difficult to officiate blocking down field or aiding the runner so it just became you couldn't pull them forward. And there the loophole sat for 15 years or so until the Eagles exploited it and here we sit watching rugby.
Nahhhh, he's a salty little bitch. I can tell.Pckfn23 wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 14:03It's a parody account...Papa John wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 13:56The guy in the video seems like a douche. Mercein accounted for half of the yards on that drive.Yoop wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 16:06good catch, I remember that play.NCF wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025 14:59I honestly always thought this was the case, as well. Ol Chucky put on a show, we all thought he was signaling a TD, truth is he was signaling he was innocent of any wrong doing

more talk of urgency, Cam Hayward said the window never stays open forever, and Rodgers window is almost shut, how the he ll do you visit a club for 6 hours, what do ya talk about for 6 hours? prospective teams need a answer, I would think Steeler brass are becoming fed up

If they're fed up, they'll move on. nobody is making them entertain Aaron Rodgers. They're choosing too. If your season is hanging on the a 40whatever year old QB with 2 decades in the league already, you're not doing a great job in the front office. Besides I think the level of respect between various front offices and players and Rodgers is much higher than that of your average fan or media talking head.
I'd say 30 minutes will be meet and greet with everybody in the building wanting to meet him and telling how great he is and how they want him in black and gold. They could talk about Superbowl 45 for an hour. Tomlin out coaching MM in the 09 game Pitt won 37 - 36 is another 20 minutes. Lunch is an hour. Looking at film. Discussing how they'd fit together. How they can crush the division with him. Whether he can give a discount to get some other star on board. You could easily spend 6 hours just looking at his highlight reel. I'd say 6 hours is nothing to guys who do this for a living.Yoop wrote: ↑22 Mar 2025 09:57more talk of urgency, Cam Hayward said the window never stays open forever, and Rodgers window is almost shut, how the he ll do you visit a club for 6 hours, what do ya talk about for 6 hours? prospective teams need a answer, I would think Steeler brass are becoming fed up

You forget an hour convincing them to sign Lazard and bring Cobb out of retirement.Cdragon wrote: ↑24 Mar 2025 07:48I'd say 30 minutes will be meet and greet with everybody in the building wanting to meet him and telling how great he is and how they want him in black and gold.
