After dealing with some health issues I'll finally be back on the sidelines this week! Camera cart, packer side is where I will be. Hopefully I can provide some extra insight after. We are phone banned ussually from kickoff till halftime but should be able to add some things after the game
@NCF and I were in row 3 and continually were screaming 'JGAVALIA' everytime the camera crews were pushing around the 15 yardline, north end.
Ah man, next time yell Meyer! Then I'll know for sure. My bad guys . I'm the younger one

14 drives 27 points.
Don't suppose you have any clue what the league average is.
Spoiler
27/14 = 1.93
League Avg: 1.93
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/ ... /index.htm

That 1.93 is even including the two 1 play drives that ended each half, 2.25 without them.
After last night's game, league average at 1.92, Packers were at 1.93 on Sunday. :beer2: Above Average!

I guess im supposed to assume you are content with being average on offense even with the reigning MVP at QB and two amazing RBs?

At this point in time, I would say it is the more reasonable expectation. Yes, MVP QB and two-headed monster at RB, but WR group still finding it's way and an OL that has been playing musical chairs for 2+ seasons and still hasn't gelled as a cohesive unit. None of us should be happy with what we are seeing on the field, but to expect more is just setting yourself up for disappointment. The good news, IMO, is I think we are making strides towards improvement. Some years our best offensive football has been played in the first half of the season. I very much expect this season will play out the opposite way.

Plus being average on a day when Aaron Rodgers couldn't hit the broad side of a barn for a half and Jenkins struggled shouldn't be considered as messed up or even bad.

Why assume that? Just thinking something that is league average doesn’t deserve a

Especially cause the 2.25 is considerably better than league average.

yep, Rodgers imo is the biggest reason we are average, sooooooo so terrible in the first half, then so accurate in the 2nd half, the receivers didn't change at all, it was like we had two different QB's against NE.

I don't even know what your defending, being average is a insult to Packer fans, Rodgers is missing receivers at a all time rate, and our pass route designs ya see common with most HS teams, and if rookie receivers have trouble tracking the ball on go routes, change the routes, we need to figure a way to complete 10 yrd passes versus throwing so many spread los passes or longer routes, like we have in the past couple seasons, to me it seems we are purposely making it harder on Doubs and Watson then it needs to be.

there is far and away to much talent on this team to be even close to league average

I think hes still trying to say I am unfairly pessimistic about the offense, because I dont think the Offense is in a place that will win any playoff games at this point...all while I still have hope they can be by the time January comes around.

you can def tell than Watson is a playmaker. I cannot tell yet if he can catch a pass consistently, but we do need to keep finding ways to get the ball in his hands.

Well... it was more about just continually hammering the narrative on repeat in every thread. Like we get it.

And much like a yoop argument, calling that out turns into me having an opposing view point for some reason.

maybe I read you wrong, but my comments concerning the passing schemes have merit, the first 3 years under Lafluer we saw short drag routes, slants and RB passes, routes that took advantage of mis matches, this year the focus is on slower developing longer routes and side line los or even behind the los dumpers that require blocking to have any success, I love those stacked pre sets, just not on every other pass play.

again, if Watson is having problems tracking the ball on these go routes, why use him that way, we are being idiotic to continue to do what has not worked, everyone says we need to get this guy involved more in the offense, we all see how well he does running the ball on the jet sweeps, why limit him to just those two type plays, these two rookie receivers are able to do so much more, imo it's the QB that is holding them back
