True, but that was an absolute killer before the half
Ya, it sucked, but there are a heck of lot of other things that didn't go well today.
Has anything gone right? It seems that every department has either done something to lose the game today, or at best has failed to do anything right that could have helped win the game.
D has only given up 17 to the best O in the league.

The freaking running backs can catch better than Wicks

Our situational awareness on this team is closer to zero than it should be.

Penalties. Drops/fumbles. And the back-breaking pick-6 are the whole difference in this game. Just sloppy. Lost a winnable, crucial matchup. Frustrating but we’re get them again.

Any properly coached team should win only giving up 17.

If we had kicked the FG instead of going for it, we would only be one score down.

If you would have told me that the Packers defense would give up only 17 points, I would have said we got this one in the bag. BAD BAD execution on offense all the way around in the end.

Not sure I get trying an onside with 3+ minutes left

4 incompletions for the Lions, 0 drops.
15 incompletions for us, 6 drops
0 turnovers for the Lions.
1 pick 6 for us.
5 penalties for Lions, 2 before they went up 21.
10 penalties for us.
There is your difference.

I'm fine with it. You need a stop anyway so you might as well take the 2% chance to get the ball.

So the Bears, Chargers, and Steelers are the only properly coached teams this year?
Ravens the only properly coached team last year?
49ers the only properly coached team in 2022?
Bills in 2021?
No team was properly coached in 2020?

I thought we could lose this game, but I never expected such a poor performance by so many players. Good time for a bye I guess.

This wont happen twice on us. We will grow on that, Detroit might get delusional thinking they are close to the SB. Still a long way to go….

Weird that I was actually pleasantly surprised by us today?
Defense held a high powered offense in check.
Got occasional pressure on Goff.
Contained the ground game during the middle portion of the game.
We know what we need to correct. Thought Jordan Love played fantastic outside of one play. I think this team could actually be something. Gonna need to find its magic though.

It all came down to a 6 minute stretch at the end of the 2nd quarter and start of the 3rd. 17 points went to Detroit in that time.

That could be a problem. This reminds me of the Eddie Lee Ivery / Ezra Johnson games at County Stadium when teams like the Vikings came in and toyed with the defense. Cold, wet, hopeless. Later on Majik beating the Niners was incredible.

I hope this game leaves a really really really bad taste in the mouths of ever Packer player in that team for the next 2 weeks. It was the same stuff that has plagued us at times all year except this time it was against a good team not making mistakes.
It’s time to quit being situationally unaware. Guys that can’t catch can figure it out in the offseason. They don’t get to figure it out on the field anymore. Playtime is over, big boy football is here and soon it will be crunch time.
Focus and penalties need to be cleaned up in a big way.
Everybody did some good things. Too many did not good things at various points. We found out what happens when you’re not together and focused against a good team.
We aren’t far off, but we got our asses handed to us.
