Time to move Nixon back to slot and play Valentine and Stokes if Jaire can't play.

Chicago got what they deserved by not being more aggressive on offense there.
I thought they were aggressive and they have a good kicker. We just made a hell of a play there.

I’ll take the win but this team is full of flaws. That defensive performance against a bad offense coming off a bye was pitiful.
Seemed like when Jaire left for good, they just attacked our corners and slot safeties with WR screens, outs, and stretch plays

100% we have flaws, more flaws than we should have, but let's pump those doom and gloom brakes. We just beat the Bears for the 11th straight time, no matter how we did it. We are at 7-3, no matter how we did it. If we were outperforming our expectations I would agree that we might not have something, but we are seeing inconsistency. All it takes is for it to click and it can happen overnight as it did last year. Will it? No clue, but no reason to think it can't click.

We 100% need Jaire in there. They picked on Nixon a lot.

Lupe and I will be holed up at Krolls next Sunday watching the Bears Vikings game prior to entering the shrine of the NFL for Game 2. Post-game party will be at Krolls watching the Eagles game. Pack is 7 and 3.

OMG,
we really do own the Bears
Think of this. Pack has won 51 of the last 66 games vs Chicago. We're now in Ringo51 - Nitschke 66 territory. Sweeeeeet! Vince is proud.
awesome, basically 3 decades of domination, been a lot of close ones like today, but mostly because we made mistakes, we have to improve our red zone offense, it's pathetic, a win is a win

Serious question. If one believes this team is just a pretender and gets no joy in a win today, why even watch going forward?

What happened to Jaire? I'm getting over an infection and missed the first half cuz I had to go to bed for a nap.

Yup. KC blocked a kick for a win nobody is putting an asterisk on that win. You take the win without apologies.

No kidding. We lost a lot of games like this in the 70s and 80s. You take wins no matter how ugly.

Maybe time to bring the Gold Zone plays back so we can win one game with a little less anxiety.

No real penalties today!
15 yard phantom roughness call.
Van Ness jumps offsides on RT jump and no call.
What was the 3rd?

I'm thinking you're responding to someone else, probably posting right before you, but if it was me, I didn't say I get no joy out of a win nor that the Pack CAN'T win, just that I can't handle all the terrible plays/calls/errors that I read about here. Given the result, I'll be watching it in peace, knowing that the bad D, bad RZ O, messed up coaching decision, et. al. didn't bite the team.

If we don't win the SB, they'll get to go "I told you so" and act all smug and smartypants for a bit.
And since the chances of us NOT winning the SB would be high regardless of being contenders or pretenders, they can do this every season. If the Packers DO win, they can just say "we got lucky" and enjoy the win.
Sort of the strategy of not committing to a relationship out of fear of heartbreak. It's $%@# sad.

This team has fallen victim to its hype about how good the young players “will be”.
Great game from C Watson. He was clutch a few times.
Great hands from Jacobs for a few big plays.
I liked that drive where we were down and basically bulky balled down the field to take the lead.
Defense is sort of a problem when they aren’t forcing turnovers. Caleb diced them up, he’s a good qb!!
The ints from love are changing games for the negative and are a big problem. We got lucky today in the end,
Good win.

Packers had 6 TOTAL drives today.
8 plays, 70 yards, TD
5 plays, 18 yards, Punt
12 plays, 61 yards, RZ INT
6 plays, 70 yards, TD
7 plays, 75 yards, ToD at the 2
4 plays, 78 yards, TD
Our defense allowed drives of:
8
10
13
10
11
12
7
Bears were 9 for 16 on 3rd down and 3 for 3 on 4th down.
The RZ fails on offense really hurt, but the defense sucked today!
