I freaking love Brian Gutekunst.
That's straight Ted Thompson right there.

Poor @Yoop has never been so conflicted. First we got his most favorite notorious neglected position at ILB, then got his favorite DL guy. Safest DL, Jeffrey Simmons clone on and off the field.
But he’s already committed to be mad about no WR.
you know me so well
we should have moved up for a WR, you wont be acting so snooty when Watkins and Cobb are on the side lines and we lack receivers going into the PO's
the lber carried a later grade, again seems a reach, Wyatt has been one of my fav DT's all along, still we needed a WR more, have to see what happens tomorrow.
Not trying to be snooty.
I made it abundantly clear I wanted to trade up for a WR. I even set specific targets, all were gone before then except Jameson I said 11. We missed out, but I also don’t feel like we missed a big opportunity. They all seemed to be a bit overdrafted, imo.
I also said I’ll wait to see the weekend, because two guys like Jalen Tolbert and Tyquan Thornton or guys like that are really really nice adds.
Kind of chatting with NCF, you see good teams like the Packers, Baltimore, Chiefs and Titans selling high on WRs. Garbage teams like Miami, Raiders, Eagles, Lions, Jets, Falcons panicking on this recent WR over reaction. I know we really need one, or two, but I like being on the side we’re on to be honest.
We’ll get out guys (I really hope), but those were some reaches there tonight
ya reach for production, but I didn't see all 6 gone before we picked as you said, and if we get one in round to and he produces then fine, if he ends up not being able to stay on the field, then we screwed up.
over drafted ? we new the top 4 would go quick, we know Dotson is a route wizard, and Burks is a bully with the ball in his hands, all 6 could provide excellent production year 1 , is there such a thing as over drafting skill positions in this era of huge WR pay scale? I think that changes the playing field some

Interesting the only real success or starter from that group is a top 15 pick.

He is also the only 1st or 2nd rounder. Burks is the only 3rd rounder. No 4th rounders. Martin, Slaton, and Keke 5th rounders. McDuffie a 6th rounder. Garvin, Summers, and Looney 7th rounders.
2 2022 front 7 guys in the first round matches the previous number of front 7 guys he drafted in the first 4 rounds the previous 4 years.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he trade up in 2nd round tomorrow to get a WR.
Same.
Except....
Of course that means he
will draft a WR tomorrow.

This should shatter the idea that Rodgers doesn't care like that goof Florio over on ProFootballTalk likes to insinuate.

I think it happened to fast and it was one of those first 4 he would've moved up for.
I think they would've likely picked Dotson or Burks at 22 if they fell but they didn't. Those two I don't feel that bad about not trading up for.

Was watching the draft with an Eagles fan who generally has a good track record evaluating college players, and when they were picking, he was saying "anybody but Wyatt". He was saying he was going to leave if they picked Wyatt. They didn't pick Wyatt.
Then we picked Wyatt.
No idea about this guy, but this was kind of funny.

Looking at tomorrow, we could get to 40 with 92 and pick 53. We could get to 45 with 59 and 92. We could get up to 46 with pick 53 and 132.
