Why the hell don't places ship alcohol to Wisconsin?!

Get it together Wisconsin. Going to drink just as much whether you like it or not. But let me buy what I want!

I'll be picturing that for a long time. :puke:

But still glad Poirier won. McGregor annoyed me.

Adopted a new cat today. Still needs to be neutered, so we'll bring him home Thursday. Here's hoping he doesn't tear up the house too badly and gets along with our other cat.

Anyone else just fed up with experiencing absolute &%$@ level of customer service only to be fed the "it's because of covid" excuse? Seems to be becoming par for the course across many industries. Mind. Boggling. :bkw:

My wife is the manager of a retail store. They have been put through absolute hell by poor management/owners and moron customers. But I do agree. It should not be used as an excuse for horrible service.

I expect these days to have to wait a little longer, be inconvenienced a little more, and maybe not have everything I want. I'm reasonable and can deal with that. Luckily I haven't run into too many cases where Covid was being used as an excuse to be extra incompetent and rude.

Just remember to have patience and treat everyone with respect. Everyone is having a rough go of things and can use the benefit of the doubt sometimes. Don't scream and yell, throw things, threaten and demand stuff. It never makes anything better. It's almost never the fault of the person you are dealing with. If it's that bad, write the company and mention the situation. Trust me, if you are understanding and good to them, they'll appreciate it and it may benefit you as well!

There's my little PSA on their behalf.

Bought a new grill recently from Recteq and I can honestly say they have the best customer service of any company I have ever dealt with before. It's all over online forums, YouTube, etc. You cannot find a bad word about them.

Another company I found was very good was Wenzel, camping type stuff.

If you break one of the poles or something on the tent, they just overnight you another, super friendly and quick to do.

Haha rereading that post I suppose it could've been easy to come to the conclusion that I could fly off the handle and snap at a cs representative. Didn't mean to imply that- it is wrong and there is pretty much never a good excuse to be rude. I have a small business and quality customer service is what keeps our doors open. That being said, the covid excuse is only relevant to a certain extent. Like you said, I understand that supply chains are disrupted and lead times are extended. Nothing we can do about that for now. I was referring more specifically to the manner in which some of these people interact with customers. Rudeness and indifference are becoming the norm.

Your wife has had to put up with some real headaches through this whole ordeal, I'm sure.

I'm embarrassed to admit it but Jenn Psaki just does it for me. Something about her "you can't $%@# with me" attitude just works.

If only muzzles were an acceptable accoutrement in today's social and personal environments....

Went to a Mcdonald's for lunch yesterday. 4 people in front of me. I went in because the drive-thru had 10 cars. I waited 10 minutes. Not a single order was taken and not one order was processed out. They had 5 people working. During lunch.

This morning I went to a Chick-fil-a for breakfast. There was no one in line inside, the drive-thru had about 10 cars. By the time I got my order the last car was pulling up to the window. I counted 19 people working. For breakfast. I spent a total of about 3 minutes from the time I walked in until I got my food.
