Oh yeah. Majik was Majik. And Sterling should be in the Hall of Fame.
Here's their 1989 Topps cards. Please note the awesome "G" on the jersey sleeves. The Majik - Sterling combo was Packers football at its very finest.

Saw this tweet pop up on my feed today. A bunch of familiar names from the past thus the placement in this thread.
However...
The thing that caught my attention is how the game has evolved over the past couple decades from a player safety and officiating standpoint:
The bone-jarring hits that would be flagged today.
The almost certain concussion Beebe likely suffered - not once, but twice - yet he still returned to the game.
The likely overrule of a TD on Beebe's long game-clinching TD catch that today would've been ruled down at the 1 yd line.
The entire game would have played out completely different by today's rules!
Anyway, enjoy this blast from the past!

There's a few things that come to mind when seeing that clip APB
1. Man Favre was fun watching.
2. Sanders really was just amazing.
3. ... Football was just more fun then.

Is interesting to see how much blame they lay on the QB's back then for 'leading their WR's' into those hits.
Definitely a different game back then.
Also welcome back! Don't think I've seen you round these parts in a hot minute.

I have this vague memory of Packers Plus magazine occasionally knocking Favre for that kind of throw. Didn't Freeman's broken arm happen on a similar play?

Think it’s safe to add Randall Cobb to this list now post draft.
I’d say Mercedes is doubtful, but not out yet.
Amos and Crosby still in play, imo.
