Intrigued to see what this looks like. Can he be a good receiving RB?? Those Jet motions really do stretch a defense.
Goodson is really coming along. I think GB is going to have to roster him on the 53 as opposed to risking him on PS. In the gadget role, it means less responsibilities for pass pro and that isn't his forte just yet. So you get the added benefit of his athleticism without taking those hits in pass pro when lined up at RB. Patrick Taylor is reliable/competent in pass pro and STs, but you can keep him on PS without too much worry of losing him.

Man Mel Kiper might have just been right about our 7th round pick. He is looking to be a steal.
Valentine or Johnson?

Valentine in action + comments from Rasul on the young CB

"Yeah, he's smooth. He's good," veteran corner Rasul Douglas said of the rookie seventh-round draft pick from Kentucky, explaining the elder DBs were just discussing how he reminds them of the way former first-round pick Eric Stokes adjusted quickly to the NFL a couple seasons ago.
"It's like he did a rookie year before, like this ain't his rookie year."

I know it’s expected but Bakh still needing some special ramp up plan, this far after the injury, remains a little strange to me. But oh well.
Bakhtiari doesn't need the practice reps to perform at a high level at this point in his career. I consider the Packers to be smart not overworking him in camp to have him at 100% entering the season.

Awesome to hear Love stacking a few good days together.

Just TC limited pads mostly, but still good.

Sounds like he’s been doing a good job going through his reads. Both actually waiting for the play to develop before moving off reads 1 or 2, but then making it to 3 and 4 quickly enough and not tucking the ball and running. And confidently pulling the trigger when he does. Really hope the OL keeps up some nice protection for him.
It seems Love has made some excellent throws in practice which is somewhat encouraging. On the other hand the offense has had issues scoring against the defense for most of camp so far, something I expect to be an issue during the season as well.

I distinctly remember an NFCCG play where a former GB QB was intercepted by a LB. The same LB did it to the former former QB a few times as well. ;)
Sorry we have too many NFCCG trauma examples to sort through in our memory banks. You need to be more specific
I guess he's talking about Urlacher intercepting Rodgers in 2010.
