Jaden Daniels is super nice.
The Way a Packers Forum Should Be

Cox hasn't played enough to be sure he's capable of ending up as a decent rotational player. The Packers don't save a whole lot of cap space ($2.5 million) for next season by moving on from Preston but they wouldn't have to pay him $12.4 million to play another season for the team.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑02 Nov 2023 19:44If they took an alive pass rusher this year it would be such a massive waste of resources. You locked up your current top guy. You just drafted one with a top 16 pick. You have 2 good rotational players at the position in Enagbare and Cox. They definitely need to come off the Preston deal and cut him.
Would AR throw to these young guys?MY_TAKE wrote: ↑23 Oct 2023 15:02We can barely complete a quick slant for gods sake. Thats all QB and WR's in my book.
Just my simple opinion but with this current team, Rodgers or Favre would have hung 30 on the broncos yesterday IN THEIR SLEEP.
IF these recievers can run routes, why does it look so FCUKED up, half the time. Who is to blame?. I am going MLF.
MY eye test tells me Doubs has a better chance than Watson to be really good. To me, Watson is flawed.
Wilson is getting long in the tooth and the QB in NY doesn't seem to be the answer. I wouldn't be surprised if both of these teams try to nab a QB somehow this spring.BF004 wrote: ↑23 Oct 2023 16:30Which horrible teams wouldn’t take QB’s?
Looking at Bears x2, Broncos, Raiders, Patriots, Giants, Cardinals, Vikings, Falcons, Titans, Commanders
Broncos and Giants really can’t move off their current QBs for like two more years, so drafting a clear backup.
Other than that. I would imagine every one of those teams would take Maye or Williams if they are in range in the top 3.
I don't know if QB is on our radar but if we are drafting in the top 10 you take the best player on your board when you are able to. You can find fine OL in later rounds.TheSkeptic wrote: ↑24 Oct 2023 04:44I am not in favor of drafting a QB in the 1st or 2nd round.
Draft a LT in the first and if there is not a LT worth the slot, trade down and take a LT later in the first. Spend the 2nd round picks on a guard and a safety.
You can point at pressure stats but that does not matter as much as what Love is thinking. Love is playing scared, just as Rodgers played scared in the playoff games when Bakh was out. Any QB with a poor LT is going to hear footsteps, even when the replacement LT gets lucky and stops his man. It only takes 1 blindside hit that snaps your head back and distorts your spine - you will remember that for weeks.
Only if AR is still playing. He's no spring chicken ans will be coming off a major injury.RingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑31 Oct 2023 17:57Since you want to talk about 2024 already ....
If the season ended today here's who'd be coming to Lambeau in 2024:
Lions, Vikings, Bears, Cardinals, 49ers, Texans, Colts, Buccaneers and the freakin' effen J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets.
Guess which game will be a prime time evening game.
These days you can't win without a quality QB and you never have enough pass rushers.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑02 Nov 2023 19:44If they took an alive pass rusher this year it would be such a massive waste of resources. When Gary was injured last year, the Packers pass rush disappeared. If an elite pass rusher is available, I would jump at the chance to draft him and I hope the Packers will too.Labrev wrote: ↑02 Nov 2023 15:40Gary, Enagbare, LVN (as a project), Wyatt, Brooks, Wooden... that's a nice set of guys who can get after the QB.
One thing I would not mind that I think is lacking on this team are off-ball LBers that have blitz skills. It doesn't even have to be a stud LB; it can be a rotational backup one-trick pony kind of guy who's there almost solely for that (some ST value too to justify their roster spot).
Otherwise no, I would not prioritize pass-rushers in the draft. I would prioritize beefing up the trenches on O and adding playmakers.
All that said the Packers need to change their philosophy. It’s paramount to get value out of rookie deals right now. Your star players and big contacts need to be just that but if you get pro bowl caliber talent on just a couple million in cap space you are at a colossal advantage.
