Hopper won in my book. His coverage was pretty bad. He has some issues finding the right depth in his zones I felt but he rallied to the ball and showed effort and energy. Not to say the rest of the team didnt show effort or energy but I dont think they were talented enough. We had more than 50% of the will be roster on the bench yesterday so I just think yesterday was like watching a 2 star school play a 5 star school in college.
I echo this. I'm pretty intrigued by Hopper. He's going to have plays that have you throwing stuff at the TV and others that make you go wow. But there's something to work with there. He stood out for the bit I watched (Only watched halfway through Q3).

^ there have been a few positive comments on Jonathan Ford this preseason.
It would be tough to roster him on the 53, but I don't think he'll make it to PS if the Packers release him. He's not a typical 4-3 DT, but he has shown some development since arriving in Titletown. Immense dude at 6' 5 and listed weight of 338, they're trying to see if he can get off the ball and penetrate as opposed to screwing himself into the ground to handle double teams. He's a load when moving forward

Last year good things came out of camp also about Ford. I think with Slaton on the roster and Kennys history of playing NT it makes Ford more than expendable. NT is just a position in todays league that is too niche to keep more than 1 and most teams dont keep any in general.
Great to see Wooden scoring above average. Welch I think is a lock with how thin we are already at LB and hes a core STs guy. Could care less about what Sapp had. Hes as good as gone.

Welch is playing for a job, Hopper has one, incentive matters

I bet he's still on the PS and a pretty easy call-up with a few injuries as a core ST guy.

Cox
He's really coming along and he's been a model citizen since arriving in Titletown. Gute spoke about him earlier this year and said the relative health of the Edge room limited his chances to play in 2023. (4) snaps total. I'm pretty sure GB will keep him on the 53 and continue to develop him.
Hafley is asking a lot from DL guys this year- in terms of playing 100 mph- so maybe Cox gets more chances to be a part of that rotation.
