It looks like we have another Sunday of the Red Zone. We are considered in the Tampa market and the Bucs are playing at the same time. :?

No the Texans last week was the classic trap game. We are good to go right Ringo?
Only in hindsight. Who would've thunk that the Packers offense would have floundered so mightily while full well knowing that I was there watching every play with extreme passion, intensity and drive (<100 yards rushing, 3 interceptions, 2 drops). Thankfully McM split the uprights (sort of) from 45 yards out.

Who really thinks this Packers - Jaguars matchup is a trap game? Here's the sign up sheet.

Those that say YES: aka Loonie Binners / DAs and SIs:

Those that say NO: Ringo.

oh ya, people like us don't believe in trap games, we went through two decades when every game was a trap game, something these wet nursed tet hanging pubescents have never experienced :rotf:

Starting to think this forum doesn't know what a trap game is.

we all know what people consider a trap game, some of us feel there should be no excuse for them, any given Sunday, any team can beat a better opponent, reminds us to prepare with the same intensity for every opponent

google says

definition: A trap game is when a stronger opponent overlooks a weaker opponent and the weaker opponent overcomes adversity potentially winning the game. This especially happens when the stronger team is on their home turf with their fans behind their backs.

This does fit what I have always thought of as a trap game. Jags are a team we should beat handily. Next week is a huge game against Detroit. It is just the kind of game where the Packers could be looking ahead to Detroit and not be as prepared as necessary when playing the Jags. This seems to be the definition of a trap game. Hopefully, the Packers don’t fall into the trap.

Thanks for clarifying the definition. As bad as the offense performed vs. Houston I don't think the Pack will overlook the Jags.

I don’t even care about the trap game argument anymore. Just pointing out that I believe Ringo most likely has human beings in his freezer.

Business trip. Play as mistake free as possible and get it done. Go up early and often and bury them.
