Had someone picked RB Chris Brooks, I may have voted for him. Dude had a chance to score his 1st NFL touchdown, yet he chose to go down at the 3 to let us win with a walk-off figgy.

Cooper. When he defended that deep pass I almost cried.

Jacobs and the Oline deserve consideration, tho. Jacobs created a lot of yards after 1st contact, and the line manned up and blocked well vs a loaded box.

Kraft had 78 yards and a tiddy, and the long reception where he stiff-armed the safety twice was hilarious.
Only reason I don’t consider the Oline is because Jacobs created a ton on his own and the offensive line actually cost him two huge gains early in the game with bad penalties.

Jacobs was a beast all day and when LaFleur finally leaned into him our offense sparked. It was a shame we had to wait for Love to get hurt to do that because I don’t think Love gets so banged up if we just used our stud RB.

I vote for Jacobs. That TD run was a thing of beauty. Played his best when everyone knew he was getting the ball.

I’m going with Cooper. Rookie with only a handful of games under his belt coming up with HUGE plays.

I don’t discount that Jacobs didn’t also have a great game. I do discount the boldness of the pick in an underdog contest. #thumbsdown

Where I think Cooper had some big plays he also missed a few tackles. 1 being a missed tackle on Trevor Lawrence when he scored. Another on one of the big runs by Tank Bigsby.

I thought Jacobs was mostly flawless this game.

I agree, but I have also come to expect that from Jacobs. I still hold on pretty tight to the "expectations" part of this contest.

I will always weight a defender over and offensive player. Particularly when it's an offensive player who has a high propensity of getting the ball.

Edge Cooper directly impacted essentially 10 points in this game with his foreced fumble and PBU that would have been in FG range. That is just so impressive for a rookie inside lineacker with around 30 snaps.

Cooper is a stud. My vote is for him. He should be on the field every play. He is a terror.

Can't vote for a deserving Cooper, because I don't want to disqualify myself. I'll go with Jacobs even though it may cost me, since he did what he's paid to do.

Yeah, gunna go Cooper now, winning the DPOTW sways my vote. That most definitely is exceeds expectations for someone who wasn’t even starting a month ago.

OK, after much thought, and since I can't vote for Wilson, I'am switching from Jacobs, who really carried the load on offense with Kraft, (so many great performances) to Cooper.

also want to blow my horn a few toots to, when people say one player can't make a difference, Malik Willis has :rotf:  :aok: he's been a savor.

Cooper by a smidge over Jacobs
