They all regress to the mean eventually. It is a matter of when, not if.
Except for the Packers. A O.571 winning percentage since 1919.

Here's a link to 1st half points scored and then 2nd half points scored
In the first half, Lions are averaging 20 pts, the Packers 14.6
https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/1 ... s-per-game
In the 2nd half, the two teams are pretty evenly matched in terms of points scored
https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/2 ... per-game
It would seem that throttling the Loins offense in the 1st half would be most advantageous.
Perhaps even taking the ball 1st to start the game.

There's a lot of chatter about the efficiency & awesomeness of the lions offense. I would however like to point out that MLF's offense is right there with them. DVOA is a well-respected metric and here you'll see Det offense ranked # 4 and the Packers ranked # 5 - despite playing Malik 2.5 games
Its on the defense and ST side that DET would appear to have the advantage with DET Defense coming in at # 3 vs GB Defense at # 12
The difference on STs is gargantuan. So if you can avoid the brainfarts on STs...you have a chance. HC Campbell is prone to taking chances, last time Packers stuffed em on the fake punt and that was a huge momentum swing.

If the Packers win, we are the #1 seed in the NFC after the weekend.
If the Packers lose, we will be the #7 seed in the NFC after the weekend.

Well then ...... Just Win Baby. Hit Goff early, and hit him hard!

No one is mentioning the fact Goff has very small the hands. So with a wet field and ball maybe we get a couple more fumbles out of him.

JL needs to be patient. Take what they give and worry less about the long toss down the field. Have some fun out there.
We all bought ponchos - so maybe it won’t rain!!
