Good lord. I guess Jacobs. He’s the only player in the entire offense who looked like they cared to win this game.
I think it is unfair to say Jacobs was the only player on O who looked like they cared to win the game. Nobody on that side of the ball gave up. Their execution was lacking but not their effort IMO.

If there’s a single offensive player worth consideration in my mind, it’s Tucker Kraft. Caught 5 of 5 targets and took two carries for critical first downs with QB sneaks.
Tucker came to play. The game wasn’t too big for him despite it being only his 2nd year.

I haven’t lost sight of the competition.
I just can’t get behind 5 catches for 26 yards and being like yup that’s the guy who deserves it.
Valentine? Dude got 3 tackles broken on him in the same play. For a TD.
Quay? 8 tackles and non were impactful. Still gave up 5 a carry.
The only players in consideration for me should be Jacobs, Colby Wooden, and Gary. But Gary didn’t come through enough and even the sack he did get was because the coverage was so good.

I think the participants of this contest have lost sight of what an “underdog” vote is all about.
The defense was the star of this game yet the immediate reactionary votes are going to…Josh Jacobs? One of the highest paid, highest expectation players on the roster who played for the most underperforming unit on the team?
Next year, this contest needs to redefine and just acknowledge what it is: game MVP vote regardless of paycheck and expectations.
Nah, it should remain what Papa's rules say: "Packers player that will really stand out in a good way; someone who we can expect to transform into a beast, force himself through the metaphorical door jam and really rear his ugly head. You can pick anyone you wish, but just remember the bolder the pick, the better".
So there's a) player who stands out in a good way + b) bold is better. Not a pure underdog competition, more of a "player who exceeded your (and voters' collective) expectations most" -competition. Fringe players can exceed their meager expectations with lesser production than featured stars, and you should get some extra points for picking an underdog.
This game? Real hard. Q's and Williams' effect was felt, tho neither had any eye-popping plays. Jacobs broke a buttload of tackles, and while O players were dropping left and right, he kept battling harder.

Is that his fault of MLF's fault. IMO that is 100% on MFL.

So we just got everyone for Here's Johnny because you know.... it's Matt LeFleur's fault?

With expectations lowered due to having a 'down' year, Gary went up against the best RT in the league, and I feel like he did well, brought some decent pressure, got a sack, etc. The biggest issue with him this season was that he didn't make an impact against top T's. He did about as well as anyone can do against Lane Johnson yesterday, IMO. He gets my vote.

I'll throw my vote to Cooper. The defense had an incredible day, and he was constantly in the mix.
