100%. I have said time and time again I really don’t think it’s hard to win the SB. I just think most of these GMs are $%@# retarded. When you have top 5 and top 10 talents falling past those picks like DK, Jalen Carter, Kyle Hamilton, Christian Gonzalez, Jeffery Simmons. I mean the list goes on. And I have less time than these guys whose literal job is to scout players. So frustrating.
It's incredibly hard to win the SB lol.
What's so frustrating about Brian is he is lethal killer in every aspect of the GM job but inadequate in the one piece where idiots like you and me can do.
I actually strongly believe the Packers would be insanely good if we let Brian do everything except have Lupe get decision rights in Round 1.
Only requirement I have is you need to let me watch you in that room for your 3 hours of fame. Something tells me you and your mouth would glow in the power given to you.

A true take. The L take is constantly bitching about adding talent when the Packers DID add talent, or did you forget about McKinney and Jacobs? Or are you saying Dotson was a better addition for Philly than McKinney or Jacobs? The Chiefs added Hopkins in a trade who has done virtually nothing down the stretch to help them. Contrary to the belief, the Eagles haven't added player through trade in years. The Packers need to hit on their draft picks. Simple as that.
Need to make in season additions. Every team does it that has been successful over the years. This year Dotson and Hopkins.
Last year Chiefs trade for Hardman… who makes a clutch play to win in the SB.
Prior year Chiefs trade for Toney… who makes a clutch play to score in the SB. The Eagles traded for AJ Brown during the draft recognizing they needed a weapon.
Prior to that Rams sign Odell Beckham before the playoffs who scores in the SB.
Prior to that Buccs sign AB who… wait for it… makes big plays in the SB and playoff run.
We are always last to adjust to the NFL trends. We use to miss out on the mercenary where you could get cheap 1 year deals on FAs looking to get in themselves to get a long term big deal. Right now we are the only team not adding playmakers to improve our playoff chances and it’s part of the reason we always fall short.
Brandon McManus for the Packers was a true in season addition.
Jahan Dotson was NOT an in season addition. He was added before the season in August. Even then he had 19 receptions for 218 yards during the season. He has 3 receptions for 44 yards in 4 playoff games with 1 TD.
Deandre Hopkins has 2 catches for 22 yards in the playoffs.
These guys are not examples of player additions that put their team over the top. The Eagles are NOT an example of a team adding players in season to put themselves over the top because they didn't do that. They buck your supposed trend. So no, we aren't the only team not adding playmakers. That's simply untrue.

I also would rather have Lupe be Rd 1 over me because I would trade back every time.
Lupe would trade up just to give Brian less draft assets.

I would fire Gutenbumst, allow him to be hired by some other dumb team and then trade my 1st round pick to acquire Gutenbumst again just to fire his stupid ass twice.

Games are won and lost at the line of scrimmage. Packers offensive and defensive lines are inferior compared to the Tier 1 teams. Wait til the Ravens, Eagles, Redskins invade Lambeau in 2025.

Overall the game sucked as far as championship games go. I didn't watch it all, but when I did Philly's D was absolutely crushing them. Across the board whipped at every position on pretty much every play. It was as dominant of DL performance as any. Right up there with the likes of Seattle, recent 9ers, Tampa that one year.

I said at the start of the playoffs I thought this version of the Chiefs was on the last legs of their dynasty kind of like Lombardi's last Packer team. Unlike the Pack back then, the Chiefs got stomped. But like the Pats they've got a QB and given a few years to retool they might build it up again and have a another 5 year window.

I didn't know any songs the Falcons played while I was at the Packers Falcons game either but boy did every black person just LOVE that type of music. Frankly it was just cool and funny see them respond to something so positively that I didn't get at all.
If people like that kind of music good on them. But it didn't click with this small town South Dakota farm boy.

Yeah I told my wife too this just had the feel of the beginning of the end. I think the Broncos/Chargers take that division next year.
Frankly KC got farther this year than I ever dreamed they would.

Is our OL as suspect as you suggest? Ours is better than what we saw with KC last night. Our issue is at center and overall depth. It will be interesting to see if our DL improves with a different coach now. IMO the MVP of the SB was Philly's DL and not Hurts.
