If I were able, you can be sure I'd attend at least one day. It is a once in a lifetime event for a lifelong Packer fans. However, health issues again stand in my way of meeting up with all of you, I have friends and relatives going for all 3 days.NCF wrote: ↑26 Mar 2025 07:59It's an individual thing for everyone. I have done countless games. To me, this is a once in a lifetime event and I happen to be a pretty big Draft junkie. I think there are plenty like me and even to the opposite extreme where they would prefer this over a game. I don't know where people are staying or how it is all going to work logistically and I don't really care. I think when the show goes on, Thursday, specifically, people are going to come out of the woodwork and I wouldn't be shocked if this shatters attendance records.Drj820 wrote: ↑26 Mar 2025 07:42I really wonder if the common man will move heaven and earth to go to GB. I do understand the financial part though for long distance Fans, everything is so expensive these days

maybe it will. I just feel unsure about it. But i hope its a success for the org and city!NCF wrote: ↑26 Mar 2025 07:59It's an individual thing for everyone. I have done countless games. My next voyage to GB will be for Bears game. Ive never seen a division game...just panthers, falcons, dolphins, and jets. Lightweight franchises.
Not bad to have seen 4 games tho considering i live in Georgia

Didn't know they allowed male "Hookers" at the draft.

I came into this world KICKING and screaming, naked, and covered in blood that wasn't mine.
I am prepared to go out the same way if I need to.

You know what they say.....a good friend will bail you out of jail, a great friend will end up in the jail with you. I got your back, APB. No homo.

Cowboy up.

I'm sure it will be successful, but I don't foresee smashing any records. I think it will be smaller than detroit's, just because it's smaller. I also have a house that opened up and won't be re-rented until May. 2 months ago I contacted a couple agencies that are filling spaces for people for the draft. We're 30min from the stadium and nobody was interested and from I could tell the pricing wasn't worth the hassle.
At least we know what the mugshot will look like.

no amount is enough for me to open my home up to strangers, even though they're Packer fans, and especially if they reside in a state that ranks top 5 in booze consumptionmusclestang wrote: ↑26 Mar 2025 09:33I'm sure it will be successful, but I don't foresee smashing any records. my nephew lives in Suamaco and he has a doz or so going to stay over night there, designated drivers (wifes I suppose) driving them as close as possible to Lambeau, then picking them up later, dang I wish I could tag along, but I have health issues that will make that impossible
This may be the biggest Packer event of your lifetime, held in one of the most beautiful small towns(relatively speaking) you'll ever visit, if at all possible you should try.Drj820 wrote: ↑26 Mar 2025 08:27maybe it will. ( not sure how true that is of WI. just what I read)

This is a rental home we have near by. Nice little ranch, and yes, unless the amounts were far and above what is normal for the market here, no chance i'm renting it out a last minute group looking for a place to get hammered. Especially with someone moving in the start of May. Not enough time to fix any potential damage.

That's really interesting. I stopped looking about a month ago because I couldn't find anything within a reasonable Uber ride to Lambeau. Kind of a bummer, but not the end of the world.musclestang wrote: ↑26 Mar 2025 09:33I'm sure it will be successful, but I don't foresee smashing any records. Is a 30-45 minute cab ride back to your hotel in NY or Chicago convenient? These gigantic events do require most to step out of their comfort zone a little bit.

Just to clarify, the agencies that were taking bookings for homes weren't interested. Never got to the point of listing it to the public. I didn't want to mess with that. Was willing to forgo some of the money to not have to deal with short term rental stuff. The agencies weren't interested in anything that far away. It's about 35 minutes to the stadium from the doorstep just outside Appleton.

My sister in law lives just off of College on the south side of Appleton. She offered, but that drive was going to be crazy given the amount of people so we passed. Would like to partake in all the festivities, if you know what I mean!
