He didn't have accuracy issues in college. I'm ok with some misses early on.

I'd be more worried if he was making bad or slow decisions.

I'm not a believer in Love because too many times in college he threw the same pick over and over. Hopefully that was the HS scheme they ran (his senior year) rather than anything intrinsic to Love.
Right. These are the exact issues you get when your footwork isn't clean.

We all said he's not ready. I sure as heck didn't expect a good day. We just need to make sure (or hope) they can GET him ready within the next two months, or more preferably, that Rodgers comes back.

This is good growth and development time, though. And that's really all this is. I will not have a fully formed opinion on Jordan Love until the end of the 2022 season at the earliest.

Gary Anderson, that should be enough said. ;)

First question for MLF: is this an excused absence, or unexcused for Aaron Rodgers?
MLF: We're not going to get into that.

MLF pleased with the energy level and attitudes today (coachspeak, but for those with good memories, he was very displeased with energy level and urgency early in last offseason)

FWIW, the answer on why Davante didn't practice was weird; like "letting other guys get reps" and "playing it safe"

Seems weird. I'm wondering if he's refusing to practice and risk injury until he gets some sort of deal worked out. But he speaks to the media today, so we'll see.

OMG, these guys have almost no questions about non-QBs. It sounds like it's about to wrap up

Did he mention anything about stacking success?

1 question about Davante
2 questions about Funchess
1 question about Bortles

The rest were all Rodgers or Love. And MLF's presser has concluded.

Nope, not this time.... Sounds like it's going to be a "footwork and body position" kind of offseason

As well as a "we're not going to get into that" and "keep family business in the family" kind of offseason... obviously.

He should have a prepared statement about AR that he reads at the beginning of every presser. Then just refer every AR question to his statement/next question until the reporters stop asking.

Bakhtiari is up.

Opened with a guarantee that he will be 100% ready for training camp

This is interesting. 9 times out of ten, these reporters won't shut up about Rodgers.

Bakhtiari, one of his good friends is up, and everyone is trying to get emotional quotes about the injury recovery. Obviously, that is the story they should focus on. But now, suddenly, NO ONE is asking about other guys on the team.

Ok, I spoke too soon.

He shut it down better than LaFleur did.

He sure did.

I also loved how the reporters are just obsessed with getting quotes about the OL rookies from the Green Bay area, and when asked what he's noticed about these guys who grew up watching him on tv and looking up to him and he said flippantly, but frankly, "that they're rookies"

Haha, they cut from Bakh to the tail end of Funchess' presser in a different video conference room and we got like the last sentence he said before everyone said their goodbyes. He seemed friendly, which I wasn't expecting, but I'll have to catch the Q&A later.

I'm almost positive I'll get pulled back into a meeting by the time Davante's talking :(

Davante confirms he has no interest in holding out. He'll be there for sure. He's not forfeiting any of his hard earned dollars.

Also, on OTA absence explanation: "none of what you guys are thinking, for sure"

He liked how he came in last year. He has a new baby and wanted as much time with her as he could.

The more I see guys talk, the more confident I am this team will be ok with all this. They are in a good place with it. Maybe it will increase angst over time with urgency, but they are here for themselves; they are here for each other; they are balancing the desire to have Rodgers back and the desire to express support for Jordan. I don't know if this is good coaching or the high-character emphasis of our drafts paying its dues, but I am so impressed by the attitudes of these guys.

If nothing else, this Davante presser has me feeling much better about a lot of things, again. True leader.

I just love Davante Adams so much. Great Packer. I have the same feelings with him as I did Aaron Jones...I hope he remains a Packer, but if he must go then I hope he gets paid a massive amount of money and has continued success somewhere outside the nfc north
