Sounds like Cobb, also, may be willing to make it easier on us.

I just don't get this move. This isn't Cobb 2014. Only rationale I can think of is to please AR.
He's 31.

Of course this is what it's about! Not sure why people are so confused by this. Doesn't mean it can't be a good thing and work on the field.

I think they signed close to 30 UFA's this offseason.

That already isn't happening. Part of Aaron coming back is his "income is guaranteed"
So we can restructure to free up space, but we are just using future cap space to buy Cobb now.
you should go look up Cobbs stats, 2 years ago he was just about as good as he ever was with us, he lost 6 games to a toe injury last year and still had 450 yrds, Cobb isn't playing like some used up vet.

We better not be paying much for him. Randall Cobb has not started 16 games since 2014. Randall Cobb has not played in 16 games since 2015.

Rodgers wanted a friend so $%@# bad. He probably wanted someone he was familiar with and who he felt was reliable on the field.
Ive brought it up many times but the play on the last drive Rodgers had the ball it was a RPO and Rodgers checked to a pass and threw to a wide open Lazard who wasnt paying attention to the pass and it sailed over his head for what would have been a TD. I know that pissed Rodgers off. Everyone brings up 3rd and 4th down but no one ever talks about Lazard ducking on that play.

It was one of many poor plays by Packers that day.
MVS, Alexander, Dillon and Clark I believe are the only Packers who didn't screw up during that game.

No one needs to talk about it, you bring it up almost weekly...
It was a miscommunication. RPO - Run Pass Option. Lazard was playing run, Rodgers of playing pass. Not sure what that has to do with Cobb is back. Veteran's on our team, Adams, have made similar mistakes.

Media and twitter folks throwing HUGE shade. I have seen everything from Jordy Nelson to James Jones to Charles Woodson to James Lofton as potential resigns.

well it is sort of a comical, and clownish, situation.

they don't mention that because they'd rather blame Rodgers.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑27 Jul 2021 14:36Rodgers wanted a friend so $%@# bad. He probably wanted someone he was familiar with and who he felt was reliable on the field.

after all we had the #1 offense in the league with the likes of Lazard, Brown, Taylor, a quality slot receiver shouldn't have been needed.
