I though the DB was all over that. He stayed in front of Amari and there was help behind it. Gotta go somewhere else with the ball there. A better nickel back picks that off.

He passed into double coverage to a guy that was blanketed.
Was a terrible option.

Definitely tight coverage. On 3rd down, I just want the ball coming out. We'll see if he can advance through progressions as the game goes on. Not saying he gets a positive grade for that, but I liked that he let it go.

The expectations for love should at least be “look like an nfl backup”, they shouldn’t be “look like you can play pop Warner. Hoping to see some backup worthy play that shows further potential. Let’s go love!!
