We are going to regret not having a contract extension in place for MVS before the season.
I really thought that after the Adams contract broke down, they might go with extensions for Tonyan and MVS, but Gutey says it's still priority one to keep Adams. I think that's the choice, honestly. And while I would like to keep Adams, I would HATE to lose Adams and then also not have MVS or Tonyan locked in, also. A bit of a gamble with the offensive weapons contracts right now. Tricky times.
As long as the Packers don't do him dirty on the way out the door...

Rodgers pretty much &%$@ on Myers for the day he had yesterday, but even that is mild.
“He had a rough day today,” Rodgers said.
In Rodgers’ estimation, the issues for Myers – a second-round pick who is attempting to replace first-team All-Pro Corey Linsley as the starting center – came more on the mental side. The bar at center has been set high, and Myers is still finding his way and attempting to get on the same page as his quarterback.
“This is a good learning experience for him. A new defense, not guys in similar spots, different numbers of IDs to make. But every one of these opportunities is definitely a good thing to lock away in the memory banks. Today, mentally, I don’t think he was as sharp as he’s been in the past, and I expect him to bounce back tomorrow,” Rodgers said.

Lawson (Jets) has a torn achilles.
Hopefully it wasn't a cheap shot or anything by a Packer or there will be retribution. I haven't read anything about how it happened. All the achilles I have seen were non-contact is b/ball. One moment a guy was running and the next he was on the ground screaming.

I don't know what kind of day Myers actually had - but I think Rodgers comments were in part influenced by Corey Linsley. Those two have been bantering .Corey calls Rodgers and reminds him of how hard Aaron rode Linsley's ass as a rookie - yet all AR did up to this point was praise and stroke Myers.
This is probably just a little tough love at the behest of Corey.

Why would he be screaming. I tore my Achilles completely. Yes I fell down because it is natural when the leg gives out like that. Yes, it hurt but nowhere near as bad as a tough trip to the dentist or to get hit in the balls or dozens of things that happen to a farm kid. An hour later I drove 2 hours to get home (using cruise control because the foot could not handle the accelerator pedal), went to bed and to the doctor the next morning. I knew what it was in a few minutes and I was surprised at how little pain there was. It is just the foot flops around and is annoying to walk on.

I've seen three people playing basketball tear an achilles. In each case they were in agonizing pain.
You were not one of the three people I saw.
