I think he's just letting the GB docs get their hands on him so they can conjure up a timeline + rehab schedule and plan accordingly.
I'd guess he doesn't play until after Thanksgiving - The Rams game just before the bye would work well
He needs time to rebuild and re-tone his muscles, then time to get into game shape.

Then I'd expect him to have a limited role early on, playing about 20 pass rush snaps / game. fingers crossed.

I agree. But the fact he is in GB and can start likely working out....this would be awesome.

Because my thought originally was he would be doing this tweet in late December and then trot out the field for the NFC Title game and just not have the strength or reps to make any actual impact.

Now he may have a fighting chance at doing that.

Massive. I’m fine holding him out for a while though. Get him right. If he comes back it’s huge but we don’t need him really until the playoffs.
