I mean, why are we bringing this in here? Leave it in the podium!
Sorry, officer.
You have an ENTIRE subforum to talk about it. This is a football site, this the football forum.

Sharing opinion is fine as long as it is clearly and blatantly stated that it is opinion. Opinion is the lowest form of thought. It requires no research, data, testing, etc. Opinion is literally just one individual's culmination of personal anecdotes bathed in personal bias.

Again. Opinion is fine. As long as it is stated it is clearly opinion. Though often times opinions are best kept to yourself outside of lighter topics, like football. Which is why I love football.

My only opinion regarding Covid is again going back to my "don't be an a$$shole rule".

Clearly the virus has had a tremendous world impact and should be respected as such. I also respect Lazard's decision to not get vaccinated. I don't understand and agree with it, but I respect it. However, I also understand the league's policy of trying to protect the shield and putting policies in place to do that to the best of their ability while running a multi-billion dollar company with 1000's of EE's.

You can't be flexible on policies when running such a large organization and this kind of money. So because Lazard didn't get vaxxed, he and us as Packers fans need to live with those consequences because that is the private company's policy.

Does it suck? Absolutely.

Anything beyond that seems kind of like wasted talk at this standpoint beyond acknowledging we are in the early science of things. Things regarding contagious or not, prior illness as good as vaccine, etc. This sort of talk is based on very limited information from the actual science of the disease to even the actual facts and circumstances regarding Adams and Lazard.

The fact is the human race is still learning about this. We have made great progress but we are still learning about this which is why I stick to the "no a$$shole rule" while erring to the side of being safe and doing as much effort as possible (fully understanding it's also important to live and be productive) to slow the virus.

Because at the end of the day, this impacts real people. My biggest hope is Davante Adams and Joe Barry get through this healthy. Because there are a lot who don't. My guess is Aaron Jones has a different perspective on this virus and its seriousness than others because he saw first hand how dangerous it can be.

And I'm right with him. I too have lost a number of loved ones or had friends who had to go on ventilation. That's when it became really real to me.

Well reasoned. Don't agree with all of it, but we'll reasoned.

My best guess is 10 years from now, we are going to look back at almost every move we made from December 2019 to whenever we get on the other side of this and say, "what the hell were we thinking?!"

Which is kind of humbling.

A lot of people are saying that now.

Pretty much, and most likely both extremes of the political spectrum will look pretty dumb.

That's the biggest point I wanted to drive but didn't know how to word it.

Nicely worded.

If you have strong conviction regarding this pandemic...it's probably the first sign you are wrong.

Wow, almost made it to the end of page 3 until the football angle was lost. I'm locking this thread, continue in the threads available at the Round Table.
