I just lit up :rotf:

ya this convo got discumboggled, I'am just trying to get some conversation going, not only do I love Matt Lafluer, but I'am appreciative of everything Gary brings to our team, I also believe that Michael McCarthy is a better HC then he is a play caller. :beer2:

There are people that exist that would rather have McCarthy coaching the Packers than Lafleur in 2021?
Yes, me! For sentimental reasons. He's one of those Packers I want to see retire as a Packer after doing nothing else than working for the Packers. Obviously that is delusional in the 21th century of NFL football, but still....

Ok, so you're projecting them as SB caliber based upon your opinion of regular season performance thus far.

The Cowboys haven't made it out of the divisional round since the mid 90s. Haven't even been in the playoffs since, what, 2018?

Forgive me if I still think they've got something to prove.
Ok, if you look at it that way I agree. But we probably both agree that Dallas is no gimme should we encounter them in the Playoffs. They have the talent to go to the SB. If we play them it will also be interesting to see who outsmarts whom because MM knows #12 and vice versa.

Dallas looks like a potential contender to me. But I do expect them to falter in the postseason eventually. Just as they have every year for the last what, 25?

Interesting. Ive heard my share of "the packers annual flop in the NFCCG" jokes, and most of them ring true. The jokes are earned.

But the Cowboys havent even played in an NFCCG since 1995.

Since 1995, we have 2 super bowl victories, 3 super bowl appearances, and 9 conference championship appearances.

When i say "falter in the postseason eventually just as they have every year since 95"...that statement is actually true for Dallas. We have some exceptions through the years.
