Vikes trade Z to the Browns. They get a '24 and '25 fifth but also sent a 6th and 7th to get rid of him.

Maybe the best football player of all time
I wouldn't go that far, But Jim Brown was a extremely powerful RB, and he played in the gladiator era, when maim and lame was a defensive strategyTheSkeptic wrote: ↑20 May 2023 06:31Pugger wrote: ↑20 May 2023 06:27Jim Brown passed away yesterday at the age of 87.

myself I thought Gale Sayers was the best RB I ever saw play, or even Walter Payton and Barry Sanders would be in that conversation with Brown, elite company thats for sure.
Kind of a fun, random question.

Never had a 100 yard day when Nitschke started against him. Brown was one of the best and got out before his body was destroyed by the game.Yoop wrote: ↑20 May 2023 13:24I wouldn't go that far, But Jim Brown was a extremely powerful RB, and he played in the gladiator era, when maim and lame was a defensive strategyTheSkeptic wrote: ↑20 May 2023 06:31Pugger wrote: ↑20 May 2023 06:27Jim Brown passed away yesterday at the age of 87.

I think overall, game after game, Brown was the best I have ever seen. He had no weaknesses. He was powerful, fast and had great hands. He absolutely changed how defenses played against the Browns. yet most teams still couldn't stop him.TheSkeptic wrote: ↑20 May 2023 06:31Pugger wrote: ↑20 May 2023 06:27Jim Brown passed away yesterday at the age of 87.

Most teams had some semblance of a passing offense. Cleveland did not, he was the O. And still he was unstoppable. Now, compared to Barry Sanders, was Sanders ever completely stopped? Yes, he was, and the Packers did it, they held him to -1 yards rushing for an entire game. Were the Bears a good team with Sayers? Mostly they were mediocre despite a good D with Butkus. The Browns won a championship and lost 2 championship games with Jim Brown.williewasgreat wrote: ↑21 May 2023 04:30I think overall, game after game, Brown was the best I have ever seen. Davante Adams Watch 2023?

I, for one, would love to see Adams go to a contender like Buffalo.

I wasn't gonna say it (although my comment would have included a meatloaf reference) but, yeah, that was also my thought...
A couple of NYJ players are coming forward about the 'org treating them like &%$@ when they were injured.

Treating players right was (purportedly) a big part of Rodgers's controversy with GB in 2021, so I wonder how this will play out. I mostly expect it will get ignored and blow over.

that closer to home stuff always seemed like Adams defending his decision, now we know it was mostly just a friend he wanted to play with that could help him pad his stats, now that he's gone Tae wants out to, with a bit of fore thought it was the same here, he probably new last year would be Rodgers last with us too.
he wants to be with a team with a quality QB so he can continue his path to canton, hard to blame a player like Tae for that.

I think I heard something about the league passing a new rule where an “emergency QB” will be authorized that doesn’t take a spot on the normal roster. I need details about this, but I think I probably don’t like that rule. If it’s a reaction to the Niners’ last playoff game debacle. That was a once every 50 year thing with their QB situation in that game.
Come on down and try some of our delicious green chili! Best in the world!
