The onsides have become too impossible.
Just bring the old kickoff rules back. Like 2010 kickoff rules

The only chance these days on onsides kick is to get a freak bounce, so the drop kick (with Nervousson sucking) made sense.

You know. Not mad.
1st quarter was horse sh*t. Narveson lost his job. Our perimeter boys need to learn how to hold on to balls.
But other than that our team actually tightened up. Seemed like our front 7 did much better after their bad start.
Hope Wyatt and Watson avoided large injuries.

welp i blamed week one on "brazil"
Now i blame this loss on the Kicker who wasnt even trusted to kick an onside. Hope he finished his degree in college.

I just hate that the NFL had a good thing. Like kickoffs were good. Have touchbacks be at the 20. Kickoff from the 35. Let teams do onsides whenever.

Been saying that. The league and the viewers need to accept this is a violent game and the players are paid more than enough for the repercussions.

The game peaked in 2010. The 2011 CBA was the beginning of the downfall.

The only long term thing I am worried about is the pass rush. We have one of the worst pass rushes in the league through 4 games and they are doing absolutely nothing today, again.
Truth. The front 4 is awful today and frankly didn't do that much outside the end of the Titans game.
The Titans RT was singlehandedly responsible for the entire stat line last week. The guy basically didn't even try, it was shocking. I don't remember a worse performance since Winston Justice in that one game like 15 years ago.

Kind of agree. Usually I am more ticked off after a loss but not today. This is a playoff team. There are some things to talk about but, I still see this team as a winning team going forward.

This is just the step before taking them out of the game completely. Make it so pointless and boring nobody is going to remember or care when they just eliminate it. that's what this is.
Every year it's less and less about confrontation and the game of football and more and more about gambling. On less wildcard in the game the better. What a loss for fans and the game though, the anticipation turned into just apathetic motions.

The team showed pride and heart. They could have quit but they didn't.

Happy with how the team fought back. As with week 1, we left a ton of points on the field. A ton. So many miscues, a lot of sloppiness. Ref calls not going our way. And yet still should have won the game.
What that means is that our ceiling is incredibly high. It also means that over the course of the season, you would think it would get cleaned up by January.
The biggest thing so far that worries me long term is the pass rush. In 3 of 4 games, it has been nonexistent. I'm not sure if it's scheme or what, but the opposing QB jerseys have to be among the cleanest in the league after 4 weeks. All of the other issues right now are solveable. But we might need to take personnel action to get a better result up front on D.

This went from "burn the tape" -game to "such a shame" -game.
I like that the team has no quit.
As a viewer, I feel like I've been through a lot. Need some time to process this one.

Sorry. The Vikings stopped playing the Packers and started playing the clock in the 2nd half. The score was close but that was an absolute ass whooping. The team sucked today. I thought LaFleur called a good game but the players on the field didn’t execute.
Defensively though like I’ve been saying all season they have the wrong players starting at multiple positions.

That's how I feel about the kickoffs. It went from, I hate they do commercial, don't want to miss the kick, then back to commercial before starting a drive. But man, you wanted to see the kicks, least 25 years ago we did. Stuff happened, games were flipped. not always, but you always had a shot and a better than Lloyd Christmas chance too. Today? we're a couple weeks in and I"m like, why are are we even lining up to kick anymore?
