I think I heard Krys Barnes injured his shoulder on his awesome pass breakup which just really, really sucks.
The dude makes the best play by an ILB we have had in years. Prevents a pick, allows a catch to let the Falcons score a TD and he gets hurt.
Such greatness rewarded with awfulness.
Also, if Krys Barnes's play was the same but his name was Patrick Queen, people would be flipping out about how awesome our new ILB is.
Just think about that.

Damn it. It was worse because I am in a deep IDP league, and I have Barnes, and my opponent has Ty Summers, and I lost by the margin of Summers' garbage time tackles. Messed up.

Sorry if someone has already mentioned this but I have a question.
Near the end of the third Quarter there was a play where the Packers were flagged for 2 penalties. A pass interference penalty and a roughing the passer.
The Falcons declined the PI and took the personal foul. However wouldn’t they have made more yardage if they accepted the PI?

I had that same thought; I was very confused and the announcers mentioned something about how the PI was an illegal contact when the ball was in the air, which was a strange thing to spell out, so I wondered if maybe the call was actually an illegal contact, 5 yard automatic first versus a 15-yard personal foul.... because yeah, the PI was farther down the field than 15 yards.
Anyway, that explanation doesn't make sense, so I'm as lost as you are

On the all 22 you can Jackson makes contact with the WR at the 40 Ryan still has the ball, the flag comes in from the FJ at that point. It wasn't PI it was illegal contact. They would have gotten 5 yards and a 1st if they had taken it.

Rewatched the Falcons game on all 22 and now watching the Saints game.
Few things that stood out to me about our defense.
1. Montravious Adams and Kingsley Keke have a lot of film "popping" plays. There is serious potential with both of these players where they just completely shed their man and make the play on the runner.
2. Lancaster is getting really good at dictating the line.
3. Lowry was considerably better vs Atlanta than he was vs New Orleans.
4. Raven Greene is becoming a player.
5. Josh Jackson played basically a full half. He had two players he'd like to have back. Otherwise he actually played pretty well.
6. Krys Barnes is so good.
If all these players were so good, why did we allow 46 points in two total games?
A. Horrible edge setting by Z Smith and terrible angle on same play by Amos.
B. The luckiest play you ever did see by ATL. Three Packers in the viscinity...an assured interception becomes a key reception that leads to a TD.
C. Our tackling up and down the board was atrocious.
Seriously. The tackling was really, really bad.

Big fan of that guy and Pettine has been steadily giving him more snaps

Rewatched most of the Saints game on the All 22 and man. I didn't realize how much Kevin King struggled vs the Saints. Drew Brees basically got all his yards on dump offs to Kamara and then throwing to the WR that was covered by Kevin King.
Darnell Savage got beat I believe once by Cook.
I was told up and down how much Josh Jackson struggled vs Atlanta but I am not seeing much of a difference between Jackson ATL tape and King NO tape. In fact, I would say Jackson played better.
One play in particular that was upsetting was Pettine drew up a great Will Redmond blitz vs NO's and Redmond had a free shot to the QB. It would have been a drive killer in the 3rd quarter and probably let us win easy. But Brees was able to get the ball out in under 2 seconds because King played so far off his man that a simple curl route gave Redmon no shot at getting to Brees.

I wish I could be more detailed on specific plays, but NFL Gamepass is struggling super hard in the All 22. I can't rewind. I can't pause. So I have two cracks at a play and if I miss something...I'm done. Because if you get out of the All 22 and reload, you are back to opening kickoff.
NFL Gamepass needs to get their sh*t togther.
Also, I have so much respect for Rodgers when I watch the All 22. There are plays he makes where I am just like, "how the hell did he see that?!"

You should be able to click on the play list on the upper right side next to where it says coaches film. 3 little squares each followed by a little line. Click on where it says All Plays to go to the quarter you want and scroll to the play.
