PFF put that play on Stokes. The more I see their grades and the more I look at coach explanations the more I see they were not the best at grading that game.

Looked basically like the same screen the Saints used last week on us on 4th down.

Or copying what Sean Peyton did to us from week 1?
Oh yeah, that's right. I guess I purged that game from my memory already!
I want a gif of that screen. Runyan setting the Lion up and Tonyan lowering the shoulder to demolish him was rock and roll. :dude:

Still befuddling why there are issues hitting MVS. And before it starts, no, it isn't mostly about variations on speed during the routes...
What could’ve been
Marquez Valdes-Scantling should’ve had three catches for 127 yards and three touchdowns if Rodgers was accurate. Rodgers admitted as much.

“I missed Marquez a couple times when I had him,” Rodgers said. “He did a nice job on inside releases. I missed him on the goal line. I missed him three times. That’s three touchdowns. I’m disappointed about that.”

This one is the most beffudling since Rodgers normally hits slants like this one. Look how open Valdes-Scantling is.

And look how far behind him the throw is.

Meanwhile, this one could have been a 75-yard touchdown.

And this one would’ve been a 47-yard touchdown.

And their grades are off because they put that TD on Stokes.

Currently they have Stokes at 5 targets, 1 catch allowed, 2 pass deflections. Should be 4 targets, 0 allowed, 2 PBUs.

He’s been dominant. The Lions do have the worst receivers in the league. I’m interested to see what he does these next two weeks. Can only play who’s across from you.

I mimicked points of view about this from a article about how MVS had improved from last year when this had been a issue because of inconsistent ability get free at the los, it also said it had been a issue prior of inconsistent speed during the course of running the route, in this situation I think rust is a issue, he's had far more experience with Adams and it shows, as he said this stuff will get fixed.

It could be if MVS has variations in speed from practice to games. Timing is based on practice. Although I'm not sure what to make from the look on Rodgers' face after missing him. It looked like self-disgust but could have been disgust with MVS, I'm just not sure.

Rodgers mentioned in the presser that he missed MVS 3 times. So, I’m sure this was one of them, in his mind.
