Wow - all the way from "bottom 4" over the course of a season, to "top 5" after three games. That's a three position climb! Rebuild accomplished!

Jokes are usually only funny the first time around.

Let's actually look at it:

2022
Bottom: Waldo, Trudge, Yoho, BF - Top: Packfntk, Madcity, NCF, BackthePack
2021
Bottom: BF, Yoho, Waldo, Trudge - Top: NCF, Madcity, Packfntk, mnkcarp
2020
Bottom: mnkcarp, Pckfn23, NCF, Yoho - Top: Packfntk, Madcity, Trudge, BF
2019
Bottom: mnkcarp, BF, Waldo, Trudge - Top: Packfntk, NCF, Madcity, Pckfn23
2018
Bottom: Trudge, backthepack, mnkcarp, BF - Top: Packfntk, Madcity, NCF, Pckfn23

I believe the last 5 years have been steady with owners, if I remember right.

Leaders in bottom 4 points:
Trudge - 4
BF - 4
Waldo - 3
Yoho - 3
mnkcarp - 3

Leaders in top 4 points:
Packfntk - 5
Madcity - 5
NCF - 4
Pckfn23 - 2

Trades since end of 2017 season:
BF - 127 Trades
Yoho - 86 Trades
NCF - 66 Trades
Packfntk - 65 Trades
backthepack - 45 Trades
Madcity - 45 Trades
Pckfn23 - 16 Trades
Trudge - 1 Trade
Waldo - 0 Trades
mnkcarp - 0 Trades
You have the top trader with same amount of bottom 4 point years as the lowest trader. The 2nd most prolific trader is tied with with the 2nd most bottom 4 point years as the other 2 non-traders.

This isn't highly statistical, but I just can't say that the effect size of trading is particularly high. I would say there is a lot more to it than just to blame the lack of parity on lack of trading by some managers.
If you’d spend half the time putting out trade offers as you do running an analysis on why trades don’t work, we’d all have more fun.

And just like that, we have a trade! Gut it like a fish and start from scratch Trudge!

Well I apparently haven't traded, except this last draft, in the past five years. I have a young roster - since big Mike Williams went down my oldest starters are 26. I made the playoffs 3 times in those 5 years, winning it all once. I went from #2 down to the bottom and back in that time. I've made and fielded many offers that didn't work out for reasons of the moment. I probably owe half my losses to poor coaching rather than a bad GM, but I don't have the heart to fire the guy.

I'm not sure we have parity, but I did go from last place to champ in two years, so the disparity wasn't exactly set in concrete...

And we’re back.

Time to start preparing for the ‘26 draft I guess.

WoW, that Waldo - BF matchup went down to the wire!

Winless no more, Waldo!

Got an exciting finish tonight between NCF and and Trudge, as well.

The standings are moving toward parity this week, it seems, with the lone undefeated team suffering defeat and potentially the two winless teams winning.

4-0 if Erin doesn’t get hurt.

Can’t believe the Jets just let them end the game with like. 7 minute drive. Just need the jets to get the ball back, one good or two little catches and still loose and all is right in the world.

If you add together my defense and Joe Burrow, that's not quite one whole point right there. Put enough of those together and you too can beat* the guy who started CMC (48.7) and Diggs (36).

Haha, yeah it was a rough week. Losing Chubb hurt, but then sitting Barkley, and finding out last minute while coaching my kids soccer game that Deshaun Watson was out (shocked), and several players crapping all over themselves, you aren’t getting over 200 that way. Good week sir!

Was hoping to sneak McLaughlin onto the roster this morning without using a waiver claim, but see he had 2 on.

Was hoping to trade my older backup Bronco RB for the younger, faster guy. I hear he has the worst grade in the league at pass protection, so maybe my old slow guy will still be useful.

Woof, did not get 1 rb/wr/te TD this week.

Hopefully Romeo catches 3 tonight and the Packers D gets one too and I will have a shot.
