You would think that the special teams coaches would have teach that. OH well. Anti-climactic now. Hopefully they can at least put another TD on the board. TEAM has to quit digging it self holes to climb out of.
I ask again, has Bisacchia really given us highest paid ST coach returns? I don't think so.
The STs was a liability 100% of the time they were on the field.
Now they are only a liability about 20% of the time, and they give us some positive fireworks about 10% of the time.
Massive upgrade in performance, although still imperfect.

Yeah, the special teams have made an awful lot of mistakes this year.

Gotta blame that one on coaching I would say. Gotta teach the rules. Unless he went rouge and was told it.
Based on MLF's face while they were talking, the rule was coached.
I don't think Quay is the sharpest bulb in the knife drawer.

No. He wasn’t highest paid caliber when we signed him either but we were so mismanaged we had to overspend. He’s been a middle of the NFL STs coordinator his whole career. We could have had Rizzi from the Saints but we low balled him and it cost us a run at the SB.

Fun silver lining.
We haven't wasted any timeouts this half! We're prepared for this garbage time

No doubt its better. But not a top unit, which you would expect given the investment.

ok, THAT one we can blame on youth, inexperience and not being on the same page by playing together longer

I know he has 3 TDs but it is really strange how much praise Montgomery is getting for averaging 3.5 yards a carry all night. Like consistently that's been his average today

Nah, I think Herbstreet actually got one right. Doubs bailed on the route thinking extended play while Love had already committed to him in his route. Tough break. Nobody’s fault really, just timed up bad.
I suppose that could be classified miscommunication.

It really didn't, though. We almost made a game of it. 10 point game with 8 minutes left is not garbage. 3-score game is what it takes for me to say garbage, basically.

I hope we get the ball back one more time so Love can end on a positive note.

3.83 isn't a good yards per carry to RBs.

That's what I mean miscommunication, yes.
