Why wait so long to cut him if he's purely a salary cap cut? I mean, most teams have spent a good portion of their cash already, haven't they? Kinda limits his earnings ceiling if there is limited cap space available league wide to actually get signed.

Post draft re-shuffle? Maybe actually making him a post June 1st cut but announced it now? Also, he asked for permission to seek a trade, they gave it to him, and no one bit

The team directly said they'll look at veteran ILBs to add the the group, so I wouldn't rule it out. I think signing KJ Wright might be a higher preference, but I definitely think there's room for another veteran there.

new rules on blocking for 2021...the video lays it out much better than the verbiage - but this is a HUGE change in how the game is played. They want all of these low blocks eliminated - in part so they can say the game is safer and 18 reg season games are ok $$$

The Tackle box is now a bit larger, but the new rules affect what happens outside the Tackle/TE box - no more low blocks, those are now a penalty
